Galvatron Re-issue

Read in tfans the following:

Reported by a member Noriko, Galvatron will come in two versions. The default will be the anime accurate purple color Galvatron. It wasn`t quite clear whether he will come with the Matrix though. Give or take a Dec 15 ETA.

The e hobby exclusive is called Galvatron II. If anyone recalls the old japanese catalogs and the TF generation book, there was a sequence that portrayed Galvatron fighting side by side with Megatron. This is that Galvatron........the default classic toy we all know. He comes with a matrix with a green crystal and the arabesque like patterns seen in that sequence.

It seems like Takara will milk the "alternate" universe backstory created by Simon Furman of a Galvatron that defeated Rodimus but just as insane as the original. ETA January 2006.

...and takara found another way to get our money... as if the BT/BTA recolors arent bad enough...

... speaking of reissues... anybody here noticed that kup/wheelie and star convoy really smell bad? what the heck is takara up to now?

Star Convoy wasn`t a bad choice for the re-issue TB, but I agree with you on the Orion Pax fiasco. Bleach......they could have at least re-molded Kup`s head into an anime accurate version just like the Bumblebee re-issue.

No... i didnt say that these characters are not worthy to be reissued... in fact, i really appreciate that they reissued kup and wheelie (of course together with the very rare...or should i say used to be rare star convoy)... i just mean that these toys literally smell bad...

hehehe... it's just a minor gripe...

... if anybody asks...tell them it smells bad because the toy is old... ;D

Another thing I forgot to mention, Galvatron II comes with a lot of catch phrases like Destroy the cybertrons.....etc. Not quite sure if the default version will also come with battle cries.
