Few things to note:

-The Girl figs are actually Gashas and come with extra "appendages" for standing and driving poses.

-I had some trouble with the left ankle of Alert(the part that's connected to the rear window), it was really, really,really tight. I got it to move eventually.. for all the good it did. Somehow, the car mode didn't come out as good as it should compared to the other 2 Subarus.

The doors and panels wouldn't connect/close properly for some reason. Anyone else encounter this problem?


-Hehe, Takara substituted the "abs" on the toy for plastic parts(it was diecast in BT01 and BT03, dunno about BT07 though).

-Sunstreaker had some messy black paint apps in the chest area, had to choose the toy wisely before getting.

-the Autobot logo on Sunstreaker's chest is just a paint on, unlike BT Dead End the Decepticon logo was carved out..

-The chick figs are really loose, easily falls apart when you try to put them in the driver's seat.

All in all, a decent try but could've been better quality wise, at least we get Sunstreaker and (Red)Alert to add to the G1 namesake lineup.

Nice review man... ^_^ BTW, The paint problems you metioned, are they mostly on red alert? Oralso, does both BTA have that transforming problems? thanks

Alert has minimal paint problems, mostly due to the fact that most of it is white. I didn't have any problems with transforming Sunstreaker

How's the die-cast content? Is it the same as ordinary BTs? ;D

Sunstreaker has the same amount of diecast as Sideswipe.

Alert has plastic abs now instead of diecast, and I'm not sure, but is the trunk part of the Subaru diecast in BT01 and Bt03 or plastic(metallic paint kinda makes it hard to tell)? Plastic kay Alert e.
