Can somebody confirm if there are giant sized Optimus Primes floating around in toy department stores?
I've had 2 close encounters with these so called giant primes but I wasn't able to confirm if they do exist because when i went to the stores, they were already gone.
One giant sized G1 Optimus Prime was sighted last December 8 at SM North toy section. It's price was around P2,000.
According to my friend, it was packaged in robot mode, tall about 12", had many accessories (a gun and get this, an axe, but no trailer. His description gave me goosebumps because it could have been a leftover 20th Anniv Optimus prime that went on sale a year ago because he saw it together with Aternator Silverstreak. He found it hidden away behind other boxes of toys as if the person that hid it knew the true value of the toy if it was indeed a 20th Anniv Prime.
When I went to check it out, it's not there anymore including ther Alt Silverstreak.
My friend is not familiar with TF's because he's a GUNDAM guy.
The second Giant sized Prime was sighted at Robinson's Starmills Department Store here in Pampanga riced at P3,000. This one was sighted by my brother, nephew and mother. This to was big and according to my brother had a possible openning trailer like the G! Optimus Prime Trailer, had accessories too. He wasnt able to examine the toy closely because another guy was clutching it to his chest because it was the last one.
Darn, I don't know if they're pulling my leg. My brother could be pulling my leg but not my friend. Can somebody confirm if there are Giant sized primes floating around there?
