Another much awaited toy has landed this month..
The Takara reissue Galvatron.. in correct anime colors
Added features include a new, angrier face sculpt and various new electronic "sentences", not to mention his new "bling-bling"... the Autobot Matrix of leadership, in gold colors( if I remember right the matrix included with the reissue New Year's Prime a few years ago was silver)
So included in toy's sound chip are
1) Laser blasting sound
2) Transforming sound effect
3) 5 sentences from Galvatron(all Japanese)..
unfortunately he sounds like he's talking underwater.. not that good, but the "transforming" sound effect is loud and clear.. sweet!! ;D
The sounds are activated by either pushing the switch on Galvatron's belly(little black square) or pulling the trigger on his back. There's a switch for selecting sounds 1)-3) on Galvatron's back.. 2 AAA batteries required(not included with the toy)
I never realized how tall Galvy was next to Rodimus Prime
Funfact: Galvatron has diecast parts! The awkward part is, it's located in his crotch area(no joke!)
(Hehe, sorry for the pic shortage, been really busy doing Voltron and General Dark reviews, plus I couldn't really do much with G1 TFs in general.. not too many poses to do.. this review is just intended for those who are curious regarding the reissue
