this confirms the newsbit from a few months ago of a UK Toy Fair slideshow mentioning an Alt Rumble being in the works. mirrored the pic. - last "i THINK he has normal hand-arms on the other side of the armpieces" maximal

ugly? i'd like to call him "MACHO" which imo is how a bot that cause earthquakes should be. at last more 'cons are on the way. can't wait for him an his twin to come out so they could rock the shelf.

yeah, i'm not seeing the 'butt-ugly' part myself. i mean, hey: this is the first ever meant-to-be-Decepticon Alt mold, AND it has the frellin' CASSETTE CHEST [even though it has no real reason to] and PILEDRIVER ARMS BABY.
i will grant that the thigh pieces are a little odd [why are the joints BELOW the waistpiece, which is hinged to get out of the way anyway?], but this little guy is smooth Decepticon lovin'. i wouldn;'t worry too much about the seeming lack of arms yet; like i said they could very well be folded up in the big shoulderpieces for alternate use.

"Working pile drivers"
Battery operated? Unlikely...but I wonder how this works?

I envision him to be a shrimp in human terms, so seeing him as macho..............., he should b a midget IMHO.

looks like he was a victim of polio. also looks like a gorilla prime wannabe.

i don't get the prime analogy but yes i do hope he has regular arms to switch to. transformation seems simple though. split the rear an they form the arms then fold doors to form the waist armor pieces and the front become legs. he also seems to have the capability to point his guns forward. weird toy but i like it.

gorilla prime = oversized forearms. and yeah i can kinda understand the comparison.
but it's funny how we FINALLY get a rumble/frenzy-dedicated mold WITH the piledrivers and even a faux cassette chest, and people don't like it. ;D

well, actually i like the design. Makes him more powerful to look.
Probably what makes him look ape-like, dwarf-like is the illusion of the short legs because of the hood of the engine behind his butt.
Other than that, this looks pretty cool for me.
