"kiss" is a sort of bizarre [imo] extension of the Asterisk line, where the bots are now partnered up with girly characters [rendered as kids/preteens as seen here with Melissa/Marissa - who was supposed to be 20ish in G1] who power the bots up by... kissing them. yeeeeeeeeep. - last "where was that guy who worshipped all TF things Japanese? i'd like to see him argue THIS is Shakespearean quality writing" maximal |

read in tfw i think that this was supposed to be some radio drama in japan about how some girls find a sleeping tformer and wakes it up with a kiss. weird and disturbing but at least it doesn't sound as perverted as the "headmasters".
back to the toy: it looks like his sword converts to a surf/ snowboard. it'd be cool if it does

IS he BTK Convoy and not Ginrai? i believe the original solicitations a long time ago had him as Ginrai or something. sucks about the lack of diecast... wouldn't have expected it of TakTomy. but oh well.
