i think it'd be a good idea to go get em. things seem to be on indefinite hold for now. although Takaratomy's mentioned their goal is to be as collector-oriented as ever, there's been no word for a long time.
who knows what'll happen with the movie coming up though.

TakaraTomy is taking a rest from TFs for a while with only a few releases. As far as I know, there still will be G1 reissues, but it won't be as great in numbers as before. Take note that unlike Hasbro, it takes a while before TakaraTomy leaks information, usually a few months before the toy's release.

Take note that unlike Hasbro, it takes a while before TakaraTomy leaks information, usually a few months before the toy's release. i'd say they're fairly equal. Hasbro doesn't even have one particularly consistent venue for official info dissemination that TakaraTomy has [TakTom release info in monthly Japanese magazines, while Hasbro only sporadically shows stuff in Lee's or Toyfare or whatnot]. - last "and the websites are pretty even too, with Takara sometiems having more info" maximal
