Hi guys,
A friend of mine wants to get the Roy Fokker Veritech Fighter, preferably die-cast if available and a lot of articulations. Can anybody help me on what brand and model he should get?
Thanks. ;D

SGP, the 1/55 reissues kasi lack the die-cast quality its older counterparts had. The 1/60 yamato valks have fairly decent amoutn of die-cast in it and the possablity is good. I'd recomend the 1/48 yamato valks kaso lang compared to the 1/60 mas okay yung die-cast feel ng 1/60. ;D

Thanks guys for your advises. ;D Now all I have to do is ask Malvin if he has the VF on stock.

Yeah, I think GT GH has VF-1S on stock nga lang mga P5k sya for the Yamato 1/60 valkyrie. I would also recommend the 1/60 Yamato planes coz the whole leg part is die-cast giving a standing mech a good center of gravity. You can look at pics of the 1/60 Yamato valkyries I have at the toy collection section of the macross forum.

If your friend is nostalgic for the old stuff, then maybe he should stick to the most recent Bandai 1:55 scale reissue. I beleive it's also the cheapest.
Pero kung die cast talaga ang pag-uusapan, baka nga he'd be happier with the Yamato 1:60 scale.
If he's a casual buyer, I doubt he'd be keen on tracking down one of the older Bandai's or even the original Takatoku 1:55 scale valkyries.

i think peace was selling his classic VF-1J Takatoku.....other members are sellin their 1:60's
yoko lang sa 1:60's medyo flimsy sya kapag naka Gerwalk...tska hindi perfect ang transformation....u need to take off the leg part...paint tends to chip off when you frequently transform it .....and carefull with the chest PEG....coz its tend to break once you made a mistake when transforming it.....like what happened to my VF-1S .....huhhuhuhuhu....sigh!!!
anyway...if articulation is an issue theres no contest w/ yamato 1:60's...i suggest get the valks w/ fast packs.....but if your friend has the cash to spare...go for the 1:48's......their value tends to get pricey....
cheers moja!!!

the 1/55 reissue has diecast legs same with the vintage one, im sure you handled jetfire before, its a copy of that design..
for me, 1/48 scale valks rules the skies!

yup... i agree ... the bigger the better... and price tends to go up... ... look what happened to low vis... initially, no one bothered getting this non-show accurate, VF1A... then, demand started piling up...and next thing you know, yamato has a winner... ... anybody know the going rate of a low vis these days? ... speaking of yamato... they have a history of reissuing their valks... how come they havent reissued the low vis yet... the 1/55 reissue has diecast legs same with the vintage one, im sure you handled jetfire before, its a copy of that design.. for me, 1/48 scale valks rules the skies!

... speaking of yamato... they have a history of reissuing their valks... how come they havent reissued the low vis yet... Dami sigurong collector na magagalit kung may re-issue niyan. Yamato specifically made this a Limited Edition kasi. I don't know if they've made any other Limited Edition 1:48 before or since. According to the posts on Macrossworld, not even the recently released Cannon Fodder is limited. I wouldn't mind buying a Low Vis at SRP, though.
