1/60 yun vf-1j ryt? hows the toynami masterpiece? i heard a lot of complaints re those and thanks for sharing pics to us unfortunate ones (i think im the only one here, hehehe) credits from Macross World..... ;D Toynami MPC (1/55 scale) The VF-1 Masterpeice collection from Toynami features a very similar "perfect" transformation to the Takatoku/Bandais, in that it uses the old swing-bar method. However, the swing-bar in the MPC VF-1s are much less noticable than the Bandais. The Toynami can be seen as a "beefed up" Bandai, in that it adds a lot of small details, like rubber wheels and articulated figners. However, the biggest flaw in the Toynami, like the Bandai, is in it's sculpt. It is rather inaccurate in fighter mode, while Guardian (Gerwalk) and battloid modes seem to suffer less from the sculpting flaws. The first MPC VF-1 (Rick Hunter) lacked the diecast metal found in the legs of later MPC VF-1 toys. In addition Toynami is releasing FAST Pack armor to be sold seperately for the Skull, Max, and Miriya MPC volumes

Yes I agree with Moja Moja, he he he! That's why after purchasing it from Fenrir72, I just kept it in its box. As for my VF-1J, I also kept it in its box. I bought it from Gian7675 before he left for Zebu. Hoping to trade my ths-02 convoy with Zephon for 2 1/60 Yamato Valkeryies. Again, thanks for the kind words and for appreciating my small collection.

props to you, mattracker!! hehe, if thats a small collection, then mine is .. hahahhaa
btw, just curious, do you transfrom your 1/60s or just box them? personally, im not much into transforming since my fave mode is fighter, and if the need arises, gerwalk mode i love how the fighters look, esp with fast packs

actually if you dont want your valk exposed might as well display them w/ their boxes to protect them from dust and from yellowing ...but yellowing occurs in direct sunlight...i think prefernce from the collector on how to display it....b4 i do display my valks in Valkyrie mode...to save up space...but ryt now i kinda move in a new home ...thats why all of them are stored in B Box!!! heheheh

When its in gerwalk kasi, the upper part of the valk looks a bit unproportianal with the legs. With regards to the chinky monkeys or the clasasic 1/55's, It looks good in fighter and gerwalk especially with fastpacks attached. One of the best 1/55 valks released IMHO was the Hi-Metal VT-1 Super Ostrich made by bandai.

I prefer them in box btw, he he he! Haven't tried to transform it on my end. It's a good toy because of the sculpt and detail. It's the one with the Fast Pack parts. I will be acquiring 2 additional 1/60 Valks: The Maximillian Jenus one and the Brown Valk, w/o fast packs from one of our fellow toy collectors here (trading it for ths-02) I always go for toys with the box included eh. I appreciate also the kind words especially from our fellow collectors who have more toys than me, he he he! Will post them soon! I'm looking forward also for the upcoming Y-19 Yamato Valkeryie(?)
