Actually I think they're both supposed to be 1/48( I could be wrong with the CM's one). Cm's is 4 Centimeters shorter for some reason..
BTW Toynami released an Alpha fighter a few years back, it was 1/55 if I remember right.

1/48 size should be pretty good.. around 10 inches more or less for the Alpha

wow lufet! anybody knows what scale these'll be? I got the rook 1/55 previously but it has some QC issues, but the main disappointment for me was the size. I didnt expect it to be so small

Jay basically these are glorified versions of the Toynami Masterpiece Alphas. Size and scale are the same but the color schemes are darker and more detailed.

The Toynami (Toynami Masterpiece versions)pale in comparison with the CMS'. But if you mean the Toynami "imports", well yes quality is uber awesome!
I recently held, handled and "manhandled" the set hehehe and I am simply awestruck on how CMS does it. The plastic is light and yet sturdy, smooth and clean. Yet heavy duty. And the Tread is just one mean looking bruiser! You've got to see it to beleive it, heck he even has a "cavalier" type sword!
