i thought of sharing you something that i tried, for those who doesn't have the much surplus money at buying the usual macross stand.. here's a good replacement to it.. - a Bootleg/KO Gundam Action based, which i got for only P180.00 a piece. here's a closer pic of underneath.. it may look kinda riksy.. but so far it's been pretty much stable at carrying my 1/48 VF-1S at a somewhat launching position (roughly 110 degrees). You just need to secure and make sure the screws are really tightened.. now here's how the connection looks like in another position.. now when tried with different scales and even with MP-03 Starscream: ;D ;D

the plastic material is more likely the same as those from the 1/100 Gundam Wing kits (not as good as those from G. desitiny and other model kits).. as to stability, it's stable enough to carry any macross valkyrie of different scale and at different position.. i tried using it also in gerwalk mode and still stands firm.. carefuly attention though on the base holes where you attach the stand since most aren't tightly fit enough causing breakdown.. i permanently attached them using superglue.. i'm not sure thoug.. but maybe you can find it at your stores there that sells KO/immitation toys??
