www.hlj.com/product/KYD01059 (Bunny girl) www.hlj.com/product/KYD01060 (Jungle Emi Combat version) Is it just me or are this repaints better than the originals? Especially Bunny girl. Anyway, here is a scoop, though I own a Jungle Emi, still haven't found the time to open her, I misinterpreted some accessories on her as alterations to the proto, ..........the rings on Emi are indeed separate parts and moveable and not premolded into her sculpt. It also seems that you can remove her tiger skin top for a "topless" view. While browsing in the latest Previews catalog, the solicitations indicated that Jungle Emi was supposedly "nude/semi-nude" in the Asian /japanese version while the International will be somewhat "modified" for general audiences. So? what are you waiting for kimosabies....hint,hint

Is this true? Any references on that statement? Is that the reason the Asian version is priced that high? I'm going to get the International version either way, so we'll see first hand if there is any truth to that "modification" thing, hmm... edit: Btw, since the topic is Bome series, I might as well put a link to some of the Bome PVC figures that have been released so far (for reference purposes)... --> miscolle.sakura.ne.jp/toys/msb/msb01w.html

At Comic Odessey, their latest May 2006 Previews catalog stated the difference as a fact. No photo's though. Maybe a red herring?

The international version is slated to be released in August 2006, hope it'll be earlier. Quoting the Previews release date.

Using this link for reference only: www.senakablog.com/img/172fd7d9.JPGJust got the recent Bome Kosmos version. Complaints? I wouldn't say that except that unlike Bome's previous work, he does not credit Kunihiko Tanaka as the original artist/designer of Kosmos. NAMCO and Monolith yes, and that her eyes are not that wide eyed as the original design. But as to the quality? Topnotch and quite affordable too. Since I got the international version, another of my peeves is that only his interview was localized, the other info on KOSMOS still retained the japanese.........

Its got the "distributed by Diamond Comics/comic locator" printed on the lower portion. Unlike Jungle Emi(x-rated), there's nothing of the acknowledged markings.
Technically speaking, both are "originals", with the exception of some cosmetic changes (in Emi's case, the International version will be "sanitized").
