;D MODS, I really, really think this strip series deserves its own folder, err, what do you call it - forum? Para mas madali mag-click through to it and not having to go through the "custom works" forum.
Great work, Arrgh! Really funny with the wit and intelligence put into conceptualizing each strip.
A bit of unsolicited advice: When you do hit the mainstream (which I think you can), try easing off the gay com. It's funny, but after a few, it is getting just a bit stale. Dive into the characters just as you did with Daredevil's blindness, or Cap's search for new wings... how about the perils of dating between Spiderman and Black Widow (mate and die!) or Wonder Woman - I wonder if she's really a woman? Ehek, it's gay com again.
By the way, there is a real gay superhero now, and not surprisingly, its Pinoy-made too... Zahzah Zaturnah! Catch the musical at CCP. Hehe, I wonder when they'll be making action figures of him/her ... or should they call them dolls? ;D

thank you for the generous compliments!  i have yet to get a black widow. any offers?  i have no plans on expanding my jlu collection, soo if anyone wants to see wonder woman or any other jlu character, feel free to lend me your figs! ;D i checked the rest of my lineup from here till my latest strip. guess what, only 2 out of the 30 upcoming strips have gay jokes on them! as for gay superheroes, i learned these past years that the alpha flight member northstar is gay. and now, i'm hearing that hank mccoy is, too! what the...  |

This is either the stupidest, debasing attempts to commercialize known comic icons..................(this is meant for the Comic creators and not to you rargh), this subtle if not overt attempts to imply that Beast is gay. Can't Marvel think of a new spin on the Xmen? It was around the 1990's I remember when Northstar came out of the closet and was called "gray"..............(I recall that in Marvel Age)
Next DC kills Superman, breaks Batman's back turns Green Lantern into Parallax then Spectre and now back again...................returns as GL etc. When will this madness stop?

it won't... they'll do whatever it takes to "sell" their product. i think the main reason why superman "died" was that sales weren't doing so good. same with spiderman when marvel revealed that he was just a clone and not the real mccoy (correct me if im wrong guys) and don't forget the never ending dead character coming back to life (i.e. supes, green arrow, Jason Todd, and many more countless mortal turned immortal) Arg: WOW 30 more strips!!! im looking forward to each and one of them ;D Trivia: in Erik Larsen's comic book The Savage Dragon, they have there a character named Mighty Man (for obvious reason of course and a sort of Shazam rip-off). the twist? mighty man's secret identity is a nurse... a female nurse ;D |

sometimes when the creators have a "dead stump" they resort to reviving the dead super heroes. that's why i liked "kingdom come". heroes aged and heroes died. as for ARG, why not try to serialize it on a magazine (like what they did on ToyFare's "Twisted Mego Theater"). Just be careful with the gay jokes. as long as you are not pushing any sensitive buttons. minsan, it's good to see the human and funny side or circumstances of heroes. it could be between all of your action figs. eh minsa nga yung adult swim very disturbing na yung topics but what the heck! it's funny eh! cheers man and good luck! keep em coming!

from what i read in wikipedia, the death of superman storyline was dc's answer to the x-men's age of apocalypse hit. at around the same time, the spidey clone saga was put out to mimic the success of x-men aoa. how well did the storylines turn out? you be the judge.  anyway, in my book, superman isn't going to die. he's just dead inside. kumbaga sa manliligaw, sawi! ;D wow! lots of comments today! i wonder if this thread will have enough space to contain them all! maybe this playroom could use its own space. sub-board, anyone? what do you think? |

i got the news of the death of superman from a tabloid. but then again that's bridge under the water... or was it the other way around? hahaha ;D
a sub-board for comic strips? that would put things in order. let's hope the mods would consider it?
