Ooops wrong anime.......
My take on another Convoy upgrade/weapon.
In my version........couldn't understand why the picture showed Jackshot morphing to Liger.......I was informed that owing to Takara TF tradition....upgrade is the name of the game.
Transform mode: Golden Lion
Gimmicks: Lion's roar thanks to a button on his head, removable spiky like mace/whip of a tale, connect the planet key and he gets to retractable claws like wolverine.
Why did I buy him...................do a gerwalk......hehehe....and voila....................instant weapon upgrade for Convoy and Megatron?
He becomes like an overpowered arm ready to fillet any 'bot foolish to get in your way.
Since I haven't seen the anime.....I am at a lost as to why he also powerlinks to Megatron.
He is battery powered...............# 2 AAA are needed for the lion's roar.
Robot mode : a bit out of place....but well proportioned and stable. Articulated/poseable....retaining face features of Jackshot............
Buy factor:For completist.....a MUST for any Convoy upgrade fan.........(is there more to come? Time will tell.)

I am adding the translated text courtesy of Soundwave Oblivions site: Ligier Jack GC-16 Function: Warrior Motto: “The power of Jishi will unite and give new life!” Galaxy Convoy File: Jack Shot changed in the Jishi form, concealed by the power of planet Animatros, he changed into an animal god and his strength increased. Forms Ligier Convoy when he unites with Galaxy Convoy. With his new arm, Galaxy Convoy cuts into the evil darkness that covers the universe. 10, 7, 9, 10, 7, 10+, 8, 9, 70

The reason why he powerlinks to Megatron is because there is an evil version named Dark Liger / Nemesis Breaker that would powerlink to Megs. The GF version is a TRU Japan exclusive (and is very hard to find, said to be sold out already), while the Cybertron version will be released next year in their regular assortment.
