This is a review for a Bootleg Energon Omega Supreme.
I bought these two from a small stall near the Public Market in my home town. Total cost is P400.00
The Bootleg Energon Omega Supreme came in two Bubble packages. One package for the Train/Crane part...
and the other bubble package was for the Warship part.
I immediately openned them and at first glance, they're almost a complete copy of the Original nergon Omega Supreme...well...almost...
The Train-crane part
The Space train/crane is kind-off cool for me. All of the wheels roll except for one big wheel located at the right side which is molded to the body. The turret is molded in clear orange and it rotates and the individual cannons go up and down.
The crane/cannon part also goes up and down like what a normal crane would do.
This is a shot of the back part of the rain. There's a spot for the headmaster there located at the boxed clear orange part but for some sttrange reason, I an't fit Omega Supreme's head there.
Cannon/Crane mode
When the Train/crane is in cannon mode, it's a little bit tricky to balance it if it's off-center but you'll get the ang of it when you find the feel of how to balance it.
The Warship
The warship part of Omega Supreme is my favorite part. It's really nice and looks really like a warship. Kind of reminds me of prometheus in Macross and a Earth Defense Force Destroyer in Star Blazers/Space Battleship Yamato.
The front 3 guns move from left to right and when you turn them to Starboard, a Light and Sound Feature will activate. The front part of the warship wil ligt up and sounds will be activated.
Unlike the original Eergon Omega Supreme, the missiles for the missile launcher wasn't molded so there's an empty space located at the front at the third turret. I don't mind this because I just think of the missiles being inside of the missile launcher
The headmaster can be placed at the slot located at the conning tower. Unfortunately unlike the original, the smaller part of the brdge won't come down on top of the Headmaster once it's in place.
Warship in Cannon Mode
The warship in cannon mode is more trickier when you balance it. It's kind of hard because you have to balance it yourself. I had several attempts before I got to pose it
Another difference with the original Energon Omega Supreme warship is that the Engines of the bootleg doesn't have any detail as seen inside
Combo Train and warship
This bootleg doesn't incorporate the combo mode of the Train and warship. I think that the engine detail inside the waship should slide inside for the Space train to lock into it but it won't because it's molded in place.
Pinagdikit ko lang yan pero di naka-combine.
Robot Mode
I'm realy quite impressed when you combine both parts to form Omega Supreme. It really looks like the original when you combine them. Though it's kind of hard to lock the yellow square part onto the slot located at the warship part. It'll require some patience but it'll lock into place.
Anyway, what can I say of this Bootleg Energon Omega Supreme? It's cheap and it looks like the real thing. But don't expect much from bootlegs because it's very loose.
In my opinion. It' a bargain but I'll still probably buy an orig one in the future ;D

The gun from the bootleg Energon Omega Supreme can't be used by the said toy because it's too darn heavy to hold...so...I ave it to his big brother hehehe!

As you guys can see from the pic, the orig one olds this gun perfectly! Though you'll still have to find the right grip of Omega's Claw Arm to hold it properly
