Here's something that ruined my budget all the way until the next payday: I was browsing through some shops in the mall when I came across this on the display. I never could afford those G1 TF's nor did I bother with the re-issues. This toy was missing 1 piece but it wasn't vital to the transformation or any of the final forms. Presenting, Beast Wars II Gigastorm! Here's the "base" mode: It's a tad bit small for LOC figs. I guess those WST (even the bootleg ones) would scale with this thing better. It's not exactly Trypticon, but its got that Hasbro/Takara 1986 stamp on the left side of the tail. Yes, it also walks using 2 "C" size batteries. The rubsign is located at the left side of the head. Since this is Gigastorm, as can be seen by the gigahorn on its head, the only missing piece to this set is the small car that attaches to the chest of the dinosaur. Wonder if anyone's gonna sell a Metroplex out there....

kewl! nice gigastorm dude! you're indeed one lucky guy. How tall is this in dino form? I would say that it's 11inches from the ground to the tip of the gigahorn. Yeah, this was indeed one very very lucky catch! So far I think I've been on a lucky streak -- After getting a couple of good condition previously-owned Hasbro Prime and MP-2, now I get a good condition previously-owned Gigastorm! Add to the streak the MISB Mirage I recently got from you!

WST Dinobots are out locally! I never had any dinobot when I was a kid....that's why acquiring them now has that sense of accomplishment to speak off. I know some might say that they're not the "real" 1986 dinobots but these are as good as they can get! Kudos to Justitoys for reviving original molds of the Dinobots! To scale it with Legends of Cybertron Optimus Prime: Robot mode:

I got a pair of those long metal smokestacks for MP Prime yesterday. I attached it to my Hasbro Prime. It was so much worth it that I also plan to get another pair for my MP-2!

after my mouth drooled over your collection, I've decided that my first binaltech/alternator will be Wheeljack! Btw, what's the difference anyway between the two except american and japanese made? Hmm..hope there's some stock left at GT, wonder how much they are now... I've decided Wheeljack over the classics starscream & bumblebee since I already got optimus and rodimus earlier, Grimlock would be the next once it hit the store. A round of applause for your collection dude! wish i have that much money hehe.

When you transform them to their vehicle mode, they would resemble die-cast cars. The die-cast parts are the car shells (yun kaha ng kotse lang die-cast). All the other parts are in plastic. Alternators are all plastic. They're great to tinker around with since one would not be scared to get paint chips and scratches on the plastic. Die cast parts tend to have paint chips.
