my very first Transformers... and it's a BOOTLEG ;D i was out hunting for a voyager ratchet or ironhide from TFTM, but all the toyshops that i visited are out of stock. (there is one store that has ratchet at the 4th flr of Festival Mall but the price is pretty high for me) so i settled down with one of those BOOTLEG Binaltechs. it's a Metal Transform Car "Cybertront Hound"it's actually Swindle, i think, with Hound's head... here are some pics. i recently saw an alternator of grimlock and wheeljack selling for only P700. Is this real or just a bootleg version? i know alternators cost at least P2,000 right?

Those are bootleg versions --- but they're good bootleg versions for the price. Just watch out when transforming Wheeljack. You're bound to crack the front windshield while try to leverage it's removal from the peg while transforming it. The right and left forearms also need to be swapped -- no problem with that since they're just on ball-joints. |

Your bot's are cool! Bootleg alternators right? They don't look like it in the pics (well, the faction symbols notwithstanding...)...
As they say with clothes, it's not the brand, but the wearer. Diplaying them together really makes the difference, and shooting them well enough doubles the impact.
Where'd you obtain Wheeljack and Grimlock and for how much?

Wheeljack and Grimlock were from a shop at the 4th flr of Festival Mall Alabang...
got them for 1500 during a 3-day sale. they are both made of plastics though, no diecast parts like Hound and yellow Lambor.

just to add to this thread, the hobby shop at festival mall (4th floor-- sorry i forgot the name) is selling bootleg binaltechs for Php 700 (grimlock) and Php 900 (wheeljack). I'm actually considering buying them since they're not bad looking at all, and since they are cheaper than the original. they also sell a lot of original TF's but out of the box (cheaper). check it out! (i don't work for them-- just want to help out my fellow TF collectors) =)
