Hasbro 20th Anniv. smokestack upgrade

i was bored so i finally got to kill some time "upgrading" the smokestacks on my 20th anniv prime. now those grey plasticky smokestacks are gone, this is how prime should look like.

the smokestacks' material are made of plastic (not metal, but very cheap) and chrome painted. instructions weren't included so i had to improvise, though assembly wasn't really that difficult.



so what to do with the old smokestacks?

I hope they have the plastic version of the long smokestack because the color of the chrome doesn't match the color of the wheels on my Hasbro MP-01.

Hmm...I'll still get that long smoke stack so that both of my MP-01 (takara and hasbro) have long smokestack. Hehe. ;D

there are two set screws on the back of prime's shoulders. careful when you remove the old smokestacks as the spring inside tends to come along with it. now when you replace it with the new smokestacks, have those springs get in those holes on each of the smokestacks and voila! hopefully it turns out easy for ya. post pics of the finish product pls! ;D

I saw 3 screws around his triceps. 2 screws with the same size and the last is a super small screw. Do I also need to remove this super small screw?

yep that's right, 3 set screws.
