Ok and so I got bored today having to work at home due to some network maintenance in our network. With nothing to do except kill time I decided to do what I have been planning for Voyager Megatron for a long time --- to remove those annoying ice gimmicks on it. At first I thought it was going to be quite some work but it turned out to be very easy. You just need some time, some precision tools and viola! Here's my Voyager Megatron "iced-up" before the "operation" ...and after a few unscrewing. It looked good without the ice and I'm thinking what if the same is done to the premium voyager Megatron? That would be awesome. I never bother to take pictures or transform it to alien jet because I also removed its wings. I'm planning to re-attach it later with some modification but that's another time. Hope you like it.

looks quite cool, i think with a little bit of paint it will look like a great custom; it has better proportions than the LC Megatron.

not bad . . . but the ice makes him look more regal IMHO

The Premium Megs has clear plastic "ice", which I believe is a whole lot less obstructive visually than the translucent blue of the regular Voyager... Although removing the ice on the Premium version will allow the focus to be shifted to the metallic paint and movie-accurate paint apps...
Nice work, though! Removing the "ice" on the chest makes the look better...
jya na!

thanks! I plan on painting its eyes red and applying metallic paint. Hopefully I will have the time.
