That, launch arm, is that a full scratch build? Not a kit? I want one for my VF-1S Hikaru!!! That look sick! Great collection man!

vic01: yup everything's scratch build.. main materials used are cardboard (not the regular type) and styrene sheet and unused venetian blinds.. i've been a lurker over your gudam thread at another section.. i'm pretty sure you could build one for your valkyries anyway.. here's my progress on my second scratch build: (sorry for the crappy pics.. will replace this with better ones as soon as i get a new set of batteries for my camera) PARTITION 1 of MACROSS FACTORY.. about 60% complete.. work done: - scratch building of base partition 1 Wall - controls - ladder - gate 1 (fixed.. Gate 2 will be articulated and Gate 3, im thinking animating) - portion connecting the gantry.. still have to put up more details upper-right portion.. with details on controls the ladder.. errr.. the baluster's a bit crooked.. still have to fix it (wish i have steady hands) originally planned at using LED w/ resistors for lighting.. but a friend suggested i try out other options.. test 1 - cigarette lighter's led test 2 - using lazer thingy thanks for looking.. will continue working on this by weekend..

mias: sorry about that bro, i intended to keep it a secret while it was still on pre fitting state hehehe.. but i'll definitely show it to you the next time you drop by my place. anyway here's some updates of the Macross Factory Build: fixed the crooked ladder and balusters! done making the service bay's alley (elevation would be adjustable): other pics: scale check: hehehehe and also started to plunge into the new 1/60 line.. i don't have that much of a choice since i intend to display these together with the destroids once the factory build's done.
