I have em gundam markers but i am not satisfied with the results I am getting from it! I cant get the coats even! Any suggestions? I suggest that you get some good tips first, genocide! Those markers are a pain! yup! my red marker really gave me a hard time... beginner plang ako... last month lang ako start modelling kya wla tlaga ako idea kung pano gwin perfect (for me) ung models ko... anywei... most master grades don't require paint nman dba? MG's nlang collect ko cguro... hirap kc mag paint bcz i have unsteady hands... yup most MGs don't require painting, kuhang kuha na ang color scheme ang kit. but sometimes they still do require some painting, well maybe for the old ones i guess? like for example, my blueberry zaku, its leg used to be white, i painted it black; my stamen, parts of the leg and shoulder... painted it black; and my RX 79(G) gundam, its beam weapon was all gray, painted it white. but compared to the HGs, MGs don't really require much painting. though i can't say for the new releases of MGs nowadays. haven't bought an MG for a long time. but still, don't be discouraged with todays HGs. i was really surprised when the seed 1/100 kit line came out. i painted some parts and some don't need painting at all. like for example the aegis, red frame, buster, strike, and duel. never painted them, just did the panel lines. but for the destiny 1/100 kit line, really did some painting, the stickers that came along with it was sufficient enough for its detailing. such as the chaos gundam, its beam rifle needed some parts to be painted white; the red zaku warrior, green zaku warrior and orange zaku phantom, its hip grenade has this white ring on both ends white, but i just used the stickers coz its enough really, no need to paint. siguro ganito na lang... tanungin mo na lang ako kung ok ang kit bago ka bumili ng HG kit ulit... hahaha para sigurado di ba? or maybe solicit some advise from other collectors as well, i think that would be best? it's still displayed there in toy kingdom until july 31

I just bought my Markers 2 weeks ago. It does have the hard tip that is really hard to manage during application. I even think that the tip itself is the cause of the uneven coats!

hmm that's odd, its the opposite for me, its because of the old tips that causing my uneven paint jobs. have you tried putting in more ink on the paint? baka kulang lang sya sa ink? what color marker are you having problems with?

I am having trouble with the blue and gray colors. Once appliesd, the colors vary! Dark, light, all sorts of hue of the colors!

ahh ok.. am also having the same problem with my gray one. but what i do is i apply 2 to 3 coats of it. hindi masyadong thick yun ink nya noh?but with my blue one, ok lang naman sa akin... maybe i just got a good marker? hehehe

Well, I managed to get the blue color right but the fact still remains that it is eneven in coats. I think I will sell the markers instead. I really havent used it. Just once.  |
