thanks for the info on the MP Grimlock... looks like its a guy buy after all.. nice set of weapons from kotobokiya you got there... are they only compatible with 1/144 models/kits?

qb: got them from hlj. as far as i know, there are no local sources for the "weapon units". the armored core weapons can be found at lil's hobby branches though. adbenturero: yep. gotta love it equipped on him! rain & xen: from the looks of it they're compatible with kotobukiya's "frame arms" line - and they're in 1/144 scale as listed on hlj's site... since they're kotobukiya and not bandai's - it would depend on the unit itself i guess. luckily they're compatible with RD/MSiAs.

they're pretty much good in terms of plastic quality and cleanliness but the way the parts' distance from the sprues' frame are somewhat too close so you cant get a "clean" cut if you're not careful.

just wanna share some pics from a recent shoot with friends in UP... elise housen from Canvas 2: Niji-iro no Sketchtoo bad the focus wasnt complete... tsk! definitely needs some polishing on the macro... SuperHCMPro Zaku II F: 1/8 Shana by Beat my favorite result... and this one was made using remote flash (thanks bob!)

thanks pil! one thing i like about outdoor shoots is the natural lighting!
qb: since i dont have their boxes anymore, i just use those plastic containers that you can find at handyman/acehardware and i just line each layer with some towels as cushion.
