ikabod: It's Zeta Ver 2 (Z2, to make it short), ZZ is Double Zeta, hehe! ;D archaznable: I still don't know what kit will be the first to be baptized by the AB, I don't have any scrap kits though, but I was thinking to use it on my 1/100 Sandrock Custom first. Don't worry, I'll post some pics when I get to that! g04victor: Thanks bro! It's nice to know that I was a help. Will update as soon as I complete the things I needed (paints, tools, etc). Right now, im still cleaning the white armors of Z2 because I applied washing for the panel lines and details. But after I cleaned it w/ thinner (I used enamel flat black and enamel thinner), the Matt white tamiya spray paint and the primer were taken off too. I'll try to put a little amount of thinner to the black paint. Guys, any help/suggestions will be appreciated, thank you!

I even let it dry for 1 day because im painting the other parts too. I put the primer first, then applied matt white (maybe this is also enamel paint?!), then I waited for 3hrs only to put the enamel black paint for panel lines, details. Then after that, I leave the sprues for 1 day. Then when Im about to clean the wash w/ thinner on the cotton buds, the white were coming off too.

yun nga lang problema nasma pati yung base paints. . i mean i tried it before nung mga model kits ko, mga aicrafts, not on my gundams right now. i ended up pa rin on markers for the panel lines. . . ;D hinahanap ko kasi yung parang weathering effect pag wash ginawa mo eh. unlike on markers, it's jus one clean line. . . hhhmmmm. . .. .

Guys, any help/suggestions will be appreciated, thank you! hey sir vic01. i suggest putting a gloss coat first on your kit before applying an ink wash so you have a protection on your base paint. or check the base paint if it's enamel. baka parehong enamel kaya natanggal sya when you cleaned it with enamel thinner. the purpose of the gloss coat is to protect the base paint and decals for your panel lining ink wash. and to flow the ink wash smoothly sa surface. after that, spray it with flat topcoat if you preferred a flat-finish kit. *last edit pahabol* i read sa mga forums: to let the base paint dry (including applying topcoats) for 24 hours or overnight. -sorry, di ko rin ito nasusunod kasi hindi mahaba pasensya ko eh. hehehehe.

@no3ljm: Thanks, that's what im doing right now too, paint, coat, panel, coat, never thought it in the first place, im so stupid! ;D Will post progress pics later on, guys. Medyo busy na. Tol, question lang, bale magkano score mo sa airbrush and compressor? Thanks. By the way, ganda collection mo ah. Thanks eva! I bought this here sa US from www.dixieart.com, the Iwata Revolution double action AB costs me $65 (just the AB), and the cheapest air compressor of Iwata is the Silver jet line w/c costs me only $120 w/c includes an airhose(no need to buy a separate AH)and pistol grip filter. BTW, free shipping here, no tax, so very nice deal. But the one that sends me the package is the Iwata-Medea itself. Im telling you guys, the compressor is very suitable and designed for this hobby, you don't need to buy an expensive air compressor. Sobrang gaan, small, 10-18 psi (the best for painting kits) to 40 psi max.

Thanks Vic!
Medyo mahal din pala, pero kayang pagipunan. Hirap maghanap dito Bahrain, or wala lang talaga dito. I found a shop which sells airbrushes but limitado models nila and puro Badger.
I wonder if this Iwata is available sa Pinas. Anyone of you guys have an idea please post it. Alam ko marami rin ang nagtatanong na katulad kong tahimik lang. Tahimik lang kasi binabasa ko nalang mga usapan nyo, kakatuwa kayo ehe he he.
So Vic, I will also be waiting for your airbrushed kits. Good luck and galingan mo.

BTW, Badger brand is not bad, it's just a matter of preferences eh. My single action AB was a Badger. A lot of good airbrushes are out there, not just Iwata. But after thinking, and checked some websites, I decided to get an Iwata.

I have a bad day today, I just missed the package of my CW Ex-S conversion earlier. Nwayz, tom, I'll pick it up and post some pics of the item, I just hope not too much work when I convert my Ex-S to its BEST proportion. Nwayz, just spent a little time for Zeta: Just finished the wings I like the mechanism/design of the wings! Wow! vic01

btw if you experiencing yung sumasama yung base paint mo when doing the washing that's becuase parehas bang enamel gamit mo? try a waterbase paint for your panel linig, para pag ni wash mo eh water damp cloth gamit mo so hindi masira yung base paint mo.
