As far as im concern, this Zeta is going to be my favorite MG next is MG Freedom. Galing ng engineering, amazed ako. BTW, about the paints, I tried experimenting. I painted a scrap plastic w/ some of my tamiya acrylics, then I waited for a few minutes to dry (just a small section) then after that I tried to clean it w/ enamel thinner, natanggal nya din . Isn't enamel thinner is far strong enough to clean up every paints?! Im confused or maybe my style is wrong?! I'll just use enamel paint for the frames, when cleaning it w/ base gray, I don't see any problem. Im really learning on this hobby, and it helps a lot what to do next time. I'll try to finish Z2 as soon as possible, still thinking new stuffs to add on. V2: Hhhhmmm, parang alam ko yan ah.... So you did it?! Correct me if im wrong! 0S

maybe few minutes is not enough? anyways just try using water-based paints so you wahs with water than oil-based paints. good luck!

Di ba water-based ang acrylics? What im gonna do now is I'll wait 12-24 hrs before I'll touch my painted parts/kit again no matter how small the parts. V2, I know! Haha! But try Ebay for cheaper price if you're buying overseas. But I think you just posted it for reference, ayt?! I want to buy also 1/48s but too expensive, so I just bought another 1/60, Strike Valkyrie (Roy Focker) and Armored Valkyrie Hikaru. W/ that, im satisfied w/ my Macross collection. Going back to Gundam... At last! My CW Ex-S conversion is finally here! All I can say, awesome casting! Kinda heavy, only few cutting of sprues, I can't say it's perfect, but I can say, I wouldn't work too much on this because the casting is very good! Can't wait for the other conversions too! Here are some of the pics of the resin conversion parts (sorry, still inside the plastic). This is only a recast that's why it's cheap ($80 compared to original $160). Core-Works Ex-S Gundam Conversion Version 2# of resin parts: 125 Water slides decals (the original contains dry decals only) But no Imageshots as this is only a recast The accessories included (Manual, water slides decals, very thin wires for broken antennae (Very thin antennae w/ just a slight touch I think it will break), mine is not...... yet) After I checked the decals, I thought that the left part of the decal sheet is blank but it's not, it got a TON of white markings like PG, 01, EFSF, AE, etc. I don't like this... Cutting some of the plastic parts of the MG?! I don't want too, but it's inevitable. I'll just get another MG Ex-S if I got some more money, hehe. Optional Wires Thanks for viewing! vic01

Ako din, I can't wait to see how will I do w/ this guy. Im now confused what will I finished first.... Here are some pics I took today for TEST FITTING the conversion parts to MG EX-S: The leg parts were soaked on the water w/ palmolive dishwashing liquid Taking off the leg parts of the MG Ex-S Cutting the excess resin/sprue Building the leg part This is the hardest part for me, cutting the inner frame of the upper leg part I almost ruin the cutted part! At least i'm still safe Time to test-fit it to the new upper leg armor Here's the right leg (the taped part needs to be glued) You can see the difference. Time to cut some of the Smart gun parts to fit the gun conversion Finished Here's the finished parts so far... The head (3 parts only not included the PC and the Antennae) is smaller than the MG head The only one that is broken, naipit ata ng ibang parts. Well, time to epoxy glue it! Still a lot of parts from the conversion, the head, the upper body/chest, abdomen, the boosters, arms, the butt wings, and one of the complicated part and contains a LOT of parts, the shoulders. 19 parts for each shoulder/arm Thank you for viewing! vic01

Hhhmmm, meeni-meeni, mainimo.... This two from my Gundam Hangar are my priorities. I want to finish now the Z2 but I have no time to paint because of work and im waiting for my parents to go to work when im off (can't paint when they are inside the room) Also, I want to try now my AB and compressor, medyo maingay ng konti ung compressor but ok lang. Hay.... Well, for the mean time, I'll just think what color scheme will I use for my Ex-S, but still lingering on my mind the light blue color... Please teacher, help me decide!!! I'll do whatever you want Mizuho, just don't say color PINK! Ope you guys enjoyed! ;D vic01

vic, i think you need a break. pronto. lets go to hk for coreworks shopping!!! Yeah, I think so too. Instead of going back there, naisip ko ipon pko konti, then I'll hit my dream place, JAPAN! Planning to make a trip sa HK maybe next year, sana makahanap ako new job here, to make more for it. Dude, if you will go now, give a check list of the places to go, mostly toy stores! BTW, I just ordered to the one I bought the conversion the CW GP04 and Hi Nu, this gonna be a great experience! He even gave me a discount, but still, I say expensive, but im ok. Must have a part time job.
