pretty great work on the x-wing! how much did it cost you?
and does the wings sag even at open position?
it really brings back childhood memories!

@vlad and qb:Thanks vlad and qb! Not a master, im still in novice mode. I love TFs, it is my "Unconscious collection". I never imagined I have those numbers of TFs! It just keeps on growing. Plus they are cheap to buy, well most of them.
@winn: X-wing costs me $40 + shipping. I bought it from an ebay seller, w/c the cheapest price at that time. The box is huge! And I think I need another one X-Wing, modify it for Luke's friend, Antilles Red 2. Will find a cheap loose one.
The wings are ok when in attack mode. But when closed and you let it display in flying mode, the wings will sag. But when opened, it is a little bit floppy since it lacks locking mechanism to make the wings hold in place or auto-spring open wing gimmicks just like the other Star wars ship like the V-wing, Jedi starfighters, etc.

zankuro: Thanks bro! Will post more of WIPs! @shinn: Hehe, I wish there is, I want to improve my painting, handbrushing and scratch-building. Thanks! Lotur: Thanks! The X-wing mod to make it stable is pretty easy to do. The painting and drybrushing were just made in a few hours. That is the first time I tried it. Really easy compared to building Gunplas, hehe! BTW, I will join the group! I really forgot about it! 23: Yeah, I loved customizing and improving the looks of my toys. And that is my sideline while building my DS. @jnthn: Ey thanks! I just made it myself from scrap parts of my 1/144 GP03S and some available parts. Wanna see how it really looks like Real simple.Trick of my laziness. ;D miasong: Haha! Thanks! Oo ba, will help you build models. When you plan to go here, where? Another small updates... I've been thinking what if the chest still lights up w/o using the orig G-System parts and circuit? I tried... I found an ultra-bright LED light. I took off the ultra-bright LED and put a green LED that came from the original circuit of G-System. Tried it w/ 3V, but the light is not bright. Better use 6V to make the LED lights brightly! Drilled the mid-chest. Put some tamiya epoxy on the chest and the resin part. Will make it more detailed when it cured. Lights on! Plan to make an opening cockpit! My rule is, only one pilot for this Gundam. Trimming the thigh parts. Need more sandpaper sticks. Will strip the armor paints to make it more clean. Oh, well, busy busy. More to come so stay tune!!! Thank you for viewing! vic01

Yeah, I based it from the Neograde's design, though mine is just plain simple.

Yehey!! ;D ;D ;D I really can't tell when but maybe next year. I'm just waiting for my wife since she's the one I wanted to decide where she'd like to settle. I guess I'm ok with "anywhere" as long as i can find a job. teehee ;D Anyways, It's amazing to see the progress there master vic! I guess I need to be more imaginative when making my kits. Oh boy- you sure do have my two thumbs up on that mod you made on the shoulders. way to go there! hehe
