here's my latest... ;D AT LAST!!! the MG S-Gundam, with my Fender Deluxe 112... hehehe... no panel lines yet... gonna buy the markers this monday... this kit is very impressive... all joints are like "rock-hard"... compared to my MG WZC which after assembling it, it has loose joints already... at first, i had problems making it stand... the ankle joints are too tight to make it balance on its feet... gonna make a display stand for its safety... it's huge too... here's the size comparison... with stand and wing effect looks close to the Ex-S, dont you think?? ;D and the stand is almost a foot high... they say the head is quite big... but it looks ok to me... (update) just finished making a proto-stand for this, and it gave it an Ex-S kinda look... i'll take pics if i have time... thanx for looking... oh sorry for the bad pics... and the pose looks weird... i'll change the pics soon...

at this point it makes me wonder just how would the WZC would win against it and over the fact it has a bigger gun.
just a warning - the joints may super stiff and tough, but that doesnt imply that the plastics connected to it are tough: one will give way - and it wont be the joints.

V2: that's what im thinking... as i assembled it, i found pieces of fragile plastic parts... that's why i provided a stand for it ASAP and give it a static pose for the legs coz that's where the tight joints and soft plastic parts are mostly found...
and sad to say, this will NEVER be transformed... i tried to transform the upper body part and got scared coz of the locking mechanisms tightness... i will never make an another attempt for it... hehehe...

hey its looking great! who was that kit right beside the S gundam (hahaha just kidding). for me the head looks just fine. what i find out of proportion are the legs. their kinda skinny. but i still like the looks of this kit.
im gonna get one of these someday ;D

exactly. thats why i decided to sell my MG S because it freaked me out, and the same goes for the PG zeta. transformable kits are not something to be transformed - they're good for 1-3 transformations becore something breaks - and if something does, its gonna be one of the most sensitive parts too.

UJ: yeah the legs looks kinda skinny on the pics... but all that changed after it had its display stand... like a not so fat Ex-S... hehehe
V2: thanx for the advice... i wonder how im gonna enjoy transforming gundams??

im having a hard time taking some pics of it... it really looks different/better on the naked eye... maybe i have a bad digicam??? i guess this kit is not that photogenic???
UJ: u better get this one too, bro... although it's kinda rare these days... tip: assembling it requires brute strength!!! hehehe... my hand's still busted...

well i find it somewhat awkward too - considering the arms and shoulders are really big and buff and the legs look like its been victimized by polio or something. its better off in a stand in a floating pose - it is a space type unit after all.

updated! changed one of the pics above!
V2: while i was waiting for GT to have this, i experimented on making a stand... and it went really well... no harm was done to the mech... the base is made of solid metal and made me drill a hole through it for more than an hour... it was all worth it.... and there you go... the floating pose....

Just my opinion tho.

V2 & Jax: yes it supports the whole pelvic part, and it seems more stable than on how i see the Ex-s stand's designed... i tested its stability by moving it around and shaking it a bit... and it seems VERY stable... the base even have rubber patches underneath it and to keep it gripped to where it stands, plus the weigth of it (solid metal)... oh and the stand alone is exactly 12 inches high... tried a shorter one... but the 12" looks a lot better considering the size of the mech... V2: dont worry... you're the one who taught me to be safety conscious to my kits... and i thank you for that...
