ok i started on my "PROJECT GN DRIVE" i have my tools and all the neccessary equipment to produce my prototype. list of items. 1. led light. 2. round batteries. 3. soldering rod 4. solder 5. USB cord. 6. GN drive charging dock. LOL. 7. zune wall outlet adapter. 8. PC usb port. 9. screw driver i know this doesnt look much. but i just want to test it first before i mass produce my GN drives this has 4 usb ports. perfect for the meisters ;D it had to be a zune. my ipod ac outlet had issues. black smoke particularly after charging. some batteries to test the led i tried looking for info with regards to led lights and usb cords. i found few information and mostly junk. LOL. so im trying this on my own with little or no background whatsoever. wish me luck. im positive that this will work. it better work!

no offense amigo.... but what exactly are you trying to 'create'? gn drive? is it a stand? scratch build? customized? i kinda got lost there... sorry im kinda slow... ill make the inner part of the drive. basically make it light and stuff. also the orb parts. ill try to make it light. also the head... im still thinking on how to make the wiring less complicated... to answer your questions. my plan is to customize the gn drive. attach the cables on an action base stand to hide wires. the idea is on my head already. i just need couple more tools to really get everything going smoothly. 2 things that are holding me up is a drill to put holes for the wiring and a cutting tool to cut/saw the plastic neatly. i dont know whats its called so im having hard time getting those... other than that im good to go. just finished dismatling the led. update in 5mins ;D

too keep things clear here are updates... basically imagine this inside the kit. giving it the glow. i started cutting the usb wire to check if the wires were as accurate as what i got on the net. ok 4 wires. if i get this right i will not blow up the bulb or short my ac adapter or whatever bad thing that could happen. haha done with usb cord. now to check the led if its fully functional boom. works on batteries now lets switch it to blue. i dont think ill use this color?? GN drive is green and red? trans am color? is it red or white.... not exia but the orb?? now that its working time to know what makes it work hmm a mic. so that what makes it on and switch colors when i clap. (lol gundam clapper invented) so whats the board? i was looking for a clue what its called. i saw the letters GND.. (GN drive?) well not really its a shortcut for ground... now for the main test. checking the outlet power and the usb hub... seems to be working fine. time to plug the usb..... HOOORAY it works... pros on this type. 1. i can easily make it battery compatible, it already was to begin with anyway 2. has multiple color. 3. has switch which works by clapping or blowing the mic... 4. the board reduces the voltage... less risk. cons. 1. the chip is too big. im not sure if its gonna fit on the 1/100 scale 2. i would need more than one led light for the front and back of the gn drive (not sure if it will be bright enough to light the entire chest and back) after some more testing in the dark. it seems to be pretty bright. lol it can even light one area of the detolf without a problem. (like a spotlight)
