Nice to see those Astrays thanks for sharing!... how I wished I bought the Blue Frame when I got the chance. the seed line is hard to find nowadays. even the recent GSD is slowing vanishing in the market. for obvious reasons. ask sir malvs for one. im sure he can get you one. he got me one and with a discount. it was clearance. they always have it before back to school. i remember it well cause i used some part of my tuition to get taht kit LOL ;D astrays are perfect for a NG. great detail. i think thats where all the improvements started for NGs.

new info i found out. this will be harder than i have expected. LOL. the chest part is made from black plastic. i dont think the led would be bright enough to pass thru the plastic. it does pass on blue red white basically any color i tested but black. back part seems doable. the orb is hard. i need to cut it out and replace it with clear plastic. (i dont know where to get this) not just clear but spherical in shape... leg part and the arm part seems doable too... head is still in question.. if the led will fit. problem is, it lights the whole head cause its mostly white. and placing 2 led lights is out of the question. still deciding on making it just green and removing the red trans am effect. on the mean time. ill be placing this on the sds. big parts i think i can do this

i already ordered 200 led lights. LOL. lifetime supply. with my lack of skill... it would prolly take me while to place this on 1/100 scale. ill do it with sds for sure as soon as the leds come... another problem with the leds are they are too bright at times. ill got the bright ones but good thing is it only has 25-30 degree luminuous turn. so i just need to point it forward or something. also turned the led for 1 day. it doesnt heat up like normal lights do..

just the 1/100 scale. although im guessing it would be easier to do it on a 1/60 scale... just because its bigger and more space to run wires. and i ahve big hands. as time passes by it seems to be more confusing and harder than i thought. LOL give me a month to finish one kit. we will see what i can do with it... another issue thats been holding me is how to replace the front orb part of the chest... i dont know how to bend/ mold a styrene sheet.... or if its even possible. adding putty to get the desired curve will make it round again. but the led wont pass thru the putty...
