@qb: lol, i'd still prefer RDs/Figmas over these any time...its only a "temporary" replacement for them adbenturero: im from montreal,quebec,canada, i've seen a shop that actually sells gunpla here,however its so OP (over-priced!) and the store clerk is a b*tch.. I actually got f***'d up today cause i never noticed that the Shakugan no Shana Nendoroid that i bought was a bootleg together with a Lelouch figure (not figma) (didn't know since it was supposed to be my first), (since i was doing some sight-seeing with my mom) man was i p*ssed so much today, i called up the store where i got 'em and asked them whats their policy regarding refunds, the person said, they don't do refunds, i'm like wth man?! i asked them at POS (point of sale) if its original and they said yes, so i asked them once again and they said they could exchange it since it was purchased like 3 hours ago, and they said they want it today, im like, i live an hour away from you guys (they're from friggin chinatown) and its already 7:40pm, and the reply i got from the person i was talking to was "i got a client right now and i need to talk to him", so i hung up, furious, NOW....i'm planning on going back there and have it exchanged or better yet, refunded, or else i'll have the police involved...man sorry just had to vent out... |

thats ok dude im here at regina right now just 3 weeks....and man o man they just have a handful of gunpla here..handful of revoltechs...(SIGH!) thats a real bummer..well in your case i know that here in canada, customers are always right man, go and return that bootleg!!!!

i suggest you go talk to a manager at the store, not the peons...er store clerks. some of them are jerks so you need to bring your case higher. hope things turn out well.

SUCESS!!!, went back to the store this morning since i had to renew/replace my health card from an ontario one to a quebec one (chinatown is a few blocks from where you renew them), talked to one of them, i told them (with a blank face/poker face) that i dont want an exchange, i want a refund, store clerk insisted for an exchange, still with me hanging the bag in front of her (in a L sort of way) and giving a blank face and said again, i want a refund...so she talked to the manager, i talked to the manager, told him that its a bootleg item and i as a collector do not collect bootleg items, so he's telling me that their policy is no refund, told them that i talked to Goodsmile/Bandai regarding the said items and they will prosecute them for copyright infringement,piracy and fraud coming from me (and yes its a bluff),with all the customers at the store looking at me (they probably think im a lawyer  ),he eventually gave back my money ($45) and i left happy... ;D...so now what did i do with the $45 i got, i blew it on a lunch treat for my mom and my brother in a japanese/chinese restaurant...IM NOT A RAMEN VIRGIN ANYMORE IN CANADA ;D@qb: thanks for the great idea @adben: yes..customers are always right here in canada, cause you could easily sue someone here ;D

@adben: the ramen was....ugh....tempting at first but it was good but not that great compared to the ramen that i had in the taiwan airport 10-11 months ago, its a traditional ramen, i have a pic of it and maybe ill post some later, although it was only shot using a cp camera (didnt expect to eat in the first place XD),to be honest i kinda dig to have revos in your area, man i need some new and ORIGINAL japanese stuff right now,revo, figma, rds, man i need one now |

hel yeah dude..you last week we dpopped by at our cousin in winniepeg. boy that was 6 hour non stop drive..it gave me a butt cramp..they also have gunplas there..but compared to greattoys? whew they also have a handful there..and plus the gunplas were expensive i say compared here..sigh.. i miss the philippines already..

yep, removed the belt of the RIA Duke and replaced it with the vest coming from a SE/SS Comic Pack, got the guns from ROC figs, couldnt remember who though ;D
i couldnt find any PP SE here anymore, gotta wait for a month i guess, i might haul a couple of them since the head sculpt is better compared to the SE wave 1 one
still contemplating about getting some destros, the body might look great on Xamot and Tomax although im still having a hard time finding the CP ;D

my latest mod.... Rise of Cobra Baroness
her figure "face" doesnt look like Sienna Miller, its like a real insult to her beautiful face in the movie, heck! the only reason why I watched ROC was because of two reasons...
1. Ray Park was Snake Eyes
- and -
2. Sienna Miller looks hot in a leather suit (DROOL!)
so when i saw the figure of the Baroness, i immediately skipped on it and got the other figures, but yesterday when i went to walmart to get myself a pillow (yes! a pillow!) i saw the gi joe figures on sale for $5.00 each (probably so that they could get rid of 'em and start selling wave 2-3s), so i got myself a Snake Eyes and this girl...although i immediately opened her up and removed her disgusting "lola" face....and the result was this...

notice that i replaced her handguns with a 25th anniversary mp5 from a Baroness, she looks awkward holding those handguns...
Duke, worst zombie face on a figure...ever...
