Thanks for the comment guys. I actually started to paint yesterday afternoon. There was no rain so I took advantage but I was only able to finish the backpack. Will post pics soon. In the meantime, here's one of the kits from my collection. The one who started Gundam mania, the Gundam RX-78-2 in it's OYW color. Thanks for visiting the lab.

hey! slick looking rx-78-2! we have the same decal placed on the shield... the decal that was supposed to be placed on the shield by default was torn by my ever reliable hand! hahahaha... ;D

Thanks shinn. The decal on the shield? Well... the reason for that is the standard decal got misplaced after I cut it off the decal slide. When I found the standard decal, it's already stuck to the floor so I ended up using the substitute one. ;D Anyway, it looks good so I didn't mind.

Great kit of the RX-78-2! ;D Always admired the details on that MG. Again, another kit that wasn't available when I went to GH last Friday. Oh well..... one more target MG that I need to get. Nice one and great pictures! ;D

Thank you for the appreciation, guys. Honestly, I don't get this much appreciation with my barkada since they are not familiar with the Gundam UC timeline. Will post some WIP pics of my Mk-II later, I'm still getting the pictures off my cellphone. ;D

Lab update 12.30.07 Here're some pics of my WIP. Well, the backpack wasn't a problem at all. Easy to mask and easy to paint. See the encircled part? That's the only part where I had a problem. I messed up the paint when I was pressing it to put it in it's place so I tried to take it out using a precision screwdriver because it was SO stuck I ended up breaking the part. But no worries, I used a sticker from one of my older kits to cover up the crack after re-painting it. ;D Here's the Mk-II without the arms. I carefully took off the parts one by one to start sanding/painting them. Here is the arm part being detailed with stickers and decals. I tell you, WATER SLIDE DECALS ROCK! ;D Finished the process with a topcoat moments after putting the last decal. Test fit after the detailing process. Hmmm... what can you say? Next stop, the body part. After the rain stops that is...Thanks for visiting the lab.

err... Thanks but I didn't use AB mhon, hehehe... How I wish I have one but I only used spray cans. ;D
Actually, I wasn't able to do any progress yesterday because it was raining the whole day. But I'll make up to it once I get home this afternoon. Probably will start spraying primer on the body parts.
