During my vacation I was toying with the idea of making a custom display shelf/cab for my gundams. Since I am now concentrating on HGUC models I decided to go through with it. Luckily I an officemate of mine was kind enough to help me create a plan drawing via CADD. Here it is... and this is the outcome... The glass panels are yet to be installed (both sides and panel doors). Some changes will be made on the stands as they were made out of wood, will change them to glass so that the light from the bottom will be able to illuminate upward. No paints. Just used acrylic type adhesive plastic which can be bought from ACE Hardware. I am quite happy with the outcome, as I mounted different kits/models (NG, Msia, HG, HGUC, 1/100NG). I am glad the 1/144 HGUC kits fit nicely with ample headroom (maybe even with an action base, prolly action abse 2), specially the big daddies Jagd Doga and Sazabi (MSia), even a 1/100 MG GOGG fitted in nicely ha.ha.ha. Anyways this cab/display will exclusively house my HGUG collections. Suggestions for improvement are most welcome. I will probably have two more built (16 stand model, this one is 25 stand model). Thanks for viewing.
