Was supposed to get other Zoids, I was much more aiming to get the FZ Energy Liger, but then I ended up with this one, since this was the only Black Energy Liger in my area. Will get the red Energy Liger soon.
Just a short recap of what he actually does. There is an air pump built in the motor unit, which can be connected to various pieces via air tubes.
The air pump:
There are three configurations for Energy Liger.
1)The right most switch makes Energy Liger walk.
2)The middle switch position makes Energy Liger walk and:
2.1) Fire his weapons (if air pump is connected to the weapons)
2.2) Open his wings (if air pump is connected to the air unit)
3)The left most switch makes Energy Liger stand and:
3.1) Fire his weapons (if air pump is connected to the weapons)
3.2) Open his wings (if air pump is connected to the air unit)
Good: He's got packs of features, the 1300 price for this guy is worth it. Really lengthy guy, he's just around an inch lesser than Gordos. Good thing he fitted in my 16 inches deep cabinet. He's very bluky and heavily armed, and the functioning weapons are a big +. If you can't get a CP-03 for a Red Horn, then probably this guy would satisfy you.
Compared to the Blade Ligers and Shield Ligers, this guy walks really nice, without too much tilting as seen in the walking motion of the the previous Ligers. He's got a very sinister color too.
Bad: Probably it's the big horn that quite takes up space. And he's got not much weapons on his tail.
Neutral: It all depends if you like building Liger legs. I've been quite used to building Liger legs so I'm not that frustrated on how many pieces you gotta cut and trim for a single leg.
I'd rate this guy a 9 out of 10.
Building isn't quite hard, probably a 3-4 out of 5 for building skills.
Just placed the EZ-102 stickers on the legs and the Imperial Symbol one the front legs.
