QK-01 Murasame Liger
QK-02 Sword Wolf
QK-03 Soul Tiger
Didnt actually wanted to buy these but when i got a QK Murasame last december from the misis, i grabbed the other 2 as well.
Price is about 210php, roughly the same with the SS series (which are about 220php each, considering non-sale prices ofcourse).
Each box comes with a manual and 3 neatly taped small plastic bags containing the parts. Murasame came with 29 parts, Sword Wolf with 31, and Soul Tiger having the lowest part count of the 3 with 27. These number are also stated on the boxes. It may sound as if these kits have far less parts than other zoids but i think DiloForce has about 30+ parts (36 if im not mistaken). So think of them a SS zoids without the sprues.
Building the kits were easy and straight forward. So i opted to build the kits with out the aid of the manuals. Took me about 5 minutes.
Of the 3, only QK Soul Tiger had a functional canopy. But all three are slightly poseable, as with the SS's.
PROs
- They're miniatures of your 1/72 kits. Cute!
- Details are mirrored from the 1/72. Nice!
- Plastic quality is good.
CONS
- Not as poseable as the Blox.
- Murasame and Swordy should have been given a canopy as well.
NEUTRAL
- Comparable to SS zoids.
- 210php for an SS sized zoid with 30some parts? You decide.
- Easily built.
- Good bye exacto!
CONCLUSION
If you like blox and SS zoids, you might want to consider them, but remember they aren't 1/72 scales. If you like the idea of a non deformed chibi version of your Genesis kits, consider them. If you are a Genesis completist, consider them. If you have 200 bucks and cant decide where to spend it on, consider them. None of the above? Consider them still. They're fun to look at. 7 out of 10 for QK Murasame Liger and QK Sword Wolf, and 8 for QK Soul Tiger.
I wonder what scale these are? Will we be seeing QuickKits more and more? 3rd scale for zoids?
Thanks for viewing!
