Okay I decided to start collecting Ninja figures, and what a way to start it with my fave ninja series... TENCHU! This figure was released 2003 by Kotobukiya and there was also an Ayame figure. THE BOX: THE FIGURE: Rikimaru comes with a stand, a sword, some points of articulation in his arms, but it's not really that poseable compared to regular action figures. However, this figure is extremely detailed but also features minor flaws. Even the sword has some detailing along the blade. With the plastic used, the sword is a little bent due to packaging. The stand resembles a tatami floor with a broken piece of door sticking on the floor. GOOD: Extremely designed from figure to sword etc. A very nice rendition of Rikimaru. BAD: The sword is longer and wider than the sheath, and is a little bent due to the plastic used. Not too poseable. For ninja fans this is a must-have. I still need to find the Ayame figure too. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5

I also bought this figure plus the Ayame. I agree, it's small but highly detailed. I hope they make Onimusha 1 figures as well.

Great! You've completed the set. I'm still looking for a well made Samanosuke (Onimusha) figure. ^_^

Thanks a lot to my friend and fellow Tenchu forum mod stealthgiga for selling me this piece in a good price and very good condition even if it's loose. Now on with the review! Tenchu 3 Ayame is released 2003 along with the Rikimaru action figure by Kotobukiya. Here it is in box pic: Back of the box The figure features Ayame in a standing position, with two short swords and a stand representing planks of wood, probably a Castle bridge (remember Amagai castle?) The blades have also some detailing, the figure is very detailed too, and by the way unlike the Rikimaru figure which has its blade wider than the sheath, this one just fits well with the size of the sheath, but unfortunately we cannot place the short swords in the sheaths. But nonetheless it has quite good articulation. Here's Ayame holding her swords ala Tenchu 2. Comparison shot with Rikimaru Rikimaru's box is wider due to his action pose. Good: Detailed from head to toe A very nice rendition of Ayame, the face looks nice. Bad: Not too poseable She could have a better pose Again for ninja-fans this is a must have along the Rikimaru figure. I'd give it a 4 out of 5.

I've never played the Ninja Gaiden game on XBOX but I really liked the figures of the characters released by Kotobukiya. I got the Ayane figure for a good price that's well worth it. It's a 1/6 PVC Statue of Ayane, the female ninja who assists Hayabusa in the game. She's also well known to be the rival of Kasumi in Dead or Alive games. The statue features excellent detail I've never seen before in any PVC statue. The 1/6 scale was utilized to the fullest in the aspect of detailing. It comes with a removable base which fits is quite solid in Ayane's shoes. I'm itching to get the Ryu Hayabusa figure too. What else can I say? This figure has got to be one of the best statues out there that's all about ninjas. The price is worth the size, the detail, and beauty of this statue. And yummy too! Good: -Excellent details -Big size -Excellent rendition of the character -Solid Base Bad: -Can't think of any Rating: 5 out of 5, no more, no less!

I don't think I'll be getting the Rachel figure, I'm still planning to get Hayabusa, and then BOME Kasumi and also probably 1 set of Naruto Gashapons.

EVANGELION SPECIAL MISSION SET 2 Thanks to UOP and his bro for this toy! Not much articulation, except for Asuka's neck and their wrists. These figures aren't really that bad, but they're not that good either with all the flimsy joints but I suppose for EVA fans and ninja fans alike, it's a good catch.
