I need help so badly bros..... I can recall that in the old proboard, I was able to read a thread regarding how to repair gashas and other plastic, pvc and the like toys deformed, due to one reason or another.. Could you please give me hints as to how to restore my Aphrodite A... For some reason (lil neice and nephews wouldn't admit if they did something to her).... I just found her like this when I came home from work. Her lower legs tend to twist clockwise thus she tend to lean on her right side. I tried putting matchsticks under her feet to support her on her pedestal and keep her from leaning, but to no avail Can heating her legs from the twisted area then twist it back as it cools down help?? If so, what kind of warmth will suffice and will it not destroy her paint??? Please help me.... thanks

Nangangawit lang iyan. Hehe . Gasha ba yan? Vinyl or PVC? Usually what is recommended is to dip the figure in hot (not boiling) water and let it stay for a couple of minutes. Because the material has some kind of structural memory, it regains its original shape. Otherwise, you can coax it back with a splint. When it cools, back to old form na. Now, if you think the paint is water soluble/ bleeds, you can also try a hair dryer. Heat setting depends on wattage but usually I use the high setting to save time. Same technique to re-set shape, but since it's a standing fig and you're liable to melt it, better lay it down as you're uhm, "grooming "it back to form. If you have kids, make sure they stay away. Aside from the safety issues, ayaw mo rin marinig na "Ay, si Daddy, nagkukulot ng manika." ;D By no means should you use an oven toaster or microwave. ;D

I think I'll try heating it up later (following your next tip), got to wait for my daughter to go to sleep first to avoid her asking me someday to play with her coffee time barbies,hehehehe...... ;D Again thanks

What about ML's and Marvel showdown figs? My Showdown wolverine's claws are bent at an angle out of the package. Which of the 2 would work, water or hair dryer?
