heres a pair of custom made stands i created for my buster eagle and my fire phoenix. Fire phoenix: Buster eagle: made from spike files commonly found in any good office supplies stores (i got these from the office supplies section of SM department stores). i bent them with a pair of pliers to accomodate the zoid/ that would go on them.. spike file stock: *this system could be used for macross planes, 1/144 gundams or similar size kits, some action figs, one small problem with this system is that once bent for a specific toy, it would be hard/impossible to adapt them for another toy. total cost for 2 stands: 58 php.. 29pessos for each. total time to make: around 30 mins each to get the bends and balance right.

WOW... that's pretty innovative of you... hmm i'll look into these spike files... quite feasible as an MS stand.

Still, thanks for sharing! well the buster eagle in the pic is quite heavy too *about 1/2 kilo, so i think it may be able to carry anything about 1 kilo... also the base is made from heavy cast iron so its VERY STABLE

ah... so it can also be used on 1/100 Gundam kits??? crud, forgot to take a pic of my doubleX on the extra stand at home.. pero possible silang gamitin for some 1/100 gundams depending on the pose and the way you bend the rod.

or leave the rod unbent then put something at the end that can hold a 1/100 kits in the crotch/pelvic area......
