RV-05 Typhoon


Developed by Zoitec in connection with it's TiV and Gladius projects, this vehicle is designed to proide air coverage for the republican infantry.


A vertical take-off and landing aircraft, the Typhoon boasts superior lift, manueverability and stability in the air.
Like the Gladius, this vehicle is built for patrol and scouting purposes, but it has the advantage of flight, giving it freedom over any terrain.



Flight is enabled by two Umikaze lift pods powered by a Mynovsky microreactor.
Constucted in the same manner as the Gladius, its lightweight body combined with its relatively high-output lift pods give the Typhoon unmatchable speed and manueverability.

Mass production for the Typhoon is now on-going at Zoitec's B'Raht and Etiths factories.
The first units will be on active duty by the end of this month.

Taadaaa~ another custom vehicle by me!
Well some people said they'd like to see more custom vehicles from me. so i rummaged through my parts box and came up with this one.

This was inspired by the VTOLs found in the C&C Renegade game
This was made from a 1/144 gundam's foot, a macross airplane part, the lights from spinozapper, and some other random pcs.
The foot was hollowed out to accomodate the pilot.

I again painted it the same colorscheme as my other custom vehicles to show the connection.

Total number of parts: 6
Total build time: 1hr 45mins (30mins to modify the gundam foot, 45mins for proto-fiddling, 30mins for paint/stickering/final assembly)

RV-04 Gladius



The success of the Tactical Infantry Vehicle prompted its creators to design another vehicle with the same megnesar drive technology.
Powered by a smaller version of the magnesar pulse engine and built from the lightest and strongest possible alloys and materials,the RV-04 Gladius is a craft designed for urban patrol and advance scouting in mind.


Its small size and high speed/maneuverability makes it ideal for forging ahead of the frontlines and reporting back the enemy's position.
It is also usefull for patrolling the streets of republican cities and states, this gives it high potential for use by the Helic Police Force.


Preliminary tests are now on-going in Zoitec's Th'Raj plateu research facility.

Just when you thought it couldn't get smaller than my TIV custom here comes the gladius!

Another Zoidian vehicle custom made from random gundam parts and some superglue.. ^^
Unfortunately it has no motor for movement since i had nothing that can fit in such a small frame.

For those of you that might not like the solid windshield on this one, I can justify it by saying that it may have a heads-up-display holo unit built into it. ^^

The idea for this one came to me after rewatching Judge Dread and seeing all the hover cars and stuff like that..
I wanted to create a small craft that can either be a civilian or military vehicle.
I also gave it the same color scheme as TiV to show the connection between the two.

As a mercenary, Irvine has worked with lots of people on lots of different occasions on lots of different missions.
A few years before he met Van and joined the GuardianForces, he was hired to work as a test pilot by a well-known weapons lab.

BanDai R&D was one of the leading zoids and weapons manufacturers of that time. Irvine was hired to test a series of CPs for the commandwolf platform.
One of the CPs he tested was the WASP system. WASP stood for Weapons ArSenal for Perimeter defense. As the name suggests it was designed with perimeter defense in mind but it can also be used for field support missions.
It consisted of the STINGER EMP cannon, a Minovsky generator on the left shoulder provides the energy required for firing the STINGER, a chain-fed Quatre vulcan gun, and a 10-tube 30-shot missile pack loaded with SWARM missiles. It also had a high-output 3D radar panel installed under the missile pack.


After preliminary tests and research on the WASP, BanDai announced thier new primary goal of creating "Humanoid" fighting machines.
Subsequently the G-Project the ended all of the zoids research by BanDai.

Irvine left BanDai right after the closure of all zoids related projects. Most weapons and zoids prototypes were stored away, sold or dismantled for parts.
The WASP system's fate however has been uncertain. In BanDai logs it is listed as "IN STORAGE" but inventory records show that it has never been brought into the storage facility.

On the other hand, Irvine was once quoted as saying: "It's somewhere safe. I just don't have a use for it yet."

wahaha.. Another wolfie CP!

i was at a lost for a color scheme for this CP when i began planning on it. I was supposed to paint it in the color scheme of my SilverSentries platoon but after seeing a can of Orange-Yellow in the paint store i knew i had to color this zoid with it..

In its prototype phase this CP came with a gattling unit on its right shoulder but i was fiddling around with extra parts and pieces when i was able to come up with a good looking shoulder cannon. That gattling cannon will be incorporated into another CP eventually.

Since i used 90% gundam parts on this CP i wanted to show my appreciation of the source, hence the BANDAI decal on the cannon and the AEUG decal on the vulcan gun.. ^^

I know it doesn’t exactly fit the color scheme for Irvine's wolf (it still has a maroon right shoulder) but ill soon be getting an extra irvine wolf and that one will get all the black and maroon parts painted graphite to match..
But still the unmatched colors is good enough if you READ THE BATTLESTORY!!!

Battlestory:
From the very start of the war both sides knew that zoids themselves weren’t enough to gain the upper hand, it was well known that a zoid had some limitations in terms of mobility and expendability, the Republic acted upon this by developing a small, mass produced vehicle that can take some roles of zoids on the battlefield.

The result of this was the RV-03 Tactical Infantry Vehicle. The TiV was designed on a hover platform that can function well on land and over water; it was powered by a pair of powerful Magnesar drive engines. Its small but sturdy frame gave it good survivability on the battlefield, likewise its standardized components made it easily repairable in the field.
It came with a standard hardpoint that allowed it to be equipped with a variety of weapons and equipments for different battlefield roles.

there are two common variants for the TiV
The R-TiV was equipped with an Apollo multi sensor array for surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

The C-TiV on the other hand was equipped with a repeating beam cannon for frontline deployment.


But since the TiV came with a hardpoint it can also be equipped with weapons systems that were originally designed for zoids.


The TiV's design was so succesful that it now comprises 40% of all combat vehicles in the Republican Army.

This started with a tiny pull back motor that I’ve had for some time now, I’ve always wanted to do something with it but I wasn’t able to find any way to disguise it.
Then last Saturday my friend handed me a broken transformer toy for parts and i noticed that it's missile rack was about the right size for the motor I had...
I took it apart and hollowed it out, this process took about 2hours, since i had to be careful because the missile rack's walls were really thin and I didn’t want to damage it with one wrong cut.

After I hollowed out the missile rack and installed the motor in it, all the other parts came together easily.
Initial build and fiddling took about 45 mins before i came up with a design i liked.
The cockpit is a modified guysack head, the sensor pack and the side pods came from a 1/100 gundam, the beam cannon was made from various scrap pcs I had, the hardpoint connector is an adaptor from spinosapper's CP.

Painting took me around 2 hours (I had to mask-off the parts carefully to avoid painting and gumming up the motor)
Colors used are graphite and silver-grey.

Battlestory needs a bit of work and it needs a better name..
Take note of the designation, RV-03, RV of course stands for "Republic Vehicle".

BattleStory:
During the great war for Zi, many variant zoids were produced for specific battle conditions.
One of the zoids with the most known variants was the CommandWolf.
This zoid's highly adaptable frame allowed it to be used for many battle situations.

One of the rarely seen variants was the GrenadierWolf.
This a CommandWolf was equiped with the Grenadier Adaptable Weapons System.
The AWS system is similar to a Liger's CAS system in that it allows it to be easily replaced to adapt to whatever situation there is.

The Grenadier AWS is made up of a pair of Pulse Cannons on its back for long range bombardment, a line-fed Beam Gattling Gun that replaced the front left shoulder armor and two rocket launchers on the gattling unit that hold 3 AZ "Nutcracker" rockets each (allowing for a total of 6 shots).

I got this command wolf last saturday and decided that the stock gun was too small compared to the weapons my other commandwolves had (AC,IRVINE).

so i dug-up one of my never-accomplished-customs, this idea (and the parts for it) has been with me for more than 6 months.
I took parts off a gundam armor system and modified them to attach to the command wolf (the shoulder gattling was especially difficult)

I know some of you might say that the color scheme of the CP doesnt match the white Cwolf , but i like it as it is now..
Also not all official CPs match the colors of the zoid they were designed to be put on (the viking lance CP for example)

This custom actually sidetracked me from my Gasaraki-mindrider/ZiArmor convertion project, it now lies in my room 70% painted.

comments, sugestions and criticisms will be well received.
