Kasumi Statue Bending

Hi,

I have bought a Dead or Alive Kasumi Kotobukiya has her bending and fixing her stockings. I have displayed it but the statue is starting to bend sideways.

Is there any solution to this?

It's normal for PVC to bend when heated, and from the weather we are having I am not surprised. Unfortunately there is no way to stop this.

Here are some tips..

- Stop it before it starts by giving your figures support by having it lean on something or better yet having your nearest acrylic shop create a transparent support stand.

- Display it in a cool area and away from sunlight.

- Custom Glass / Acrylic cubicle

You may also bend it back to it's correct position via a heat gun (Hair dryer) at low setting and then dipping it in water to set it

Hi. My Kasumi is now placed inside a acrylic case and it is being supported by it. It's not in contact with any sunlight so it should be a bit safer. it's not very bended but it is bending. such a waste of a very good statue that it can't support it's own weight. Thank you for those great ideas

i hope its not too late to post.. Kasumi by Kotobukiya? or maybe u are referring to Kasumi by Maxfactory.. ive read an article before regarding this issue.. either due to intense heat or ur kasumi is the bootleg version(ive heard that the kasumi bootleg versions are the ones having a bending problem)...

yes. it's kasumi by maxfactory. it's an original. i bought it here on greattoys
