as far as i know thre are 3 types of markers based on size. first is for panel lining. looks like a sign pen as a pointy tip. 2nd is the marker w/ fine tip. this is normally used for fine detailing. 3rd is the thicker one. this has a bigger tip. more like a pentel pen... there are huge variety of markers here in the philippines. if you want details where to get them pm me. i think mods dont allow price and shops being mentioned here.
anyway here are the markers that i saw just this weekend.
a) panel lining markers (brown, black, gray, dark gray) b)gundam markers per peice. (all the basic colors just like your crayola =) c) gundam markers set (seed set, seed destiny set, zaku set. gundam set basic) the set have 5-6 peices each. some have special sets that include markers for detailing and panel lining. others include hard to find gold or silver markers.

ok. let's revive this thread for your Gundam Markers concern.
btw, is there a set of gundam markers specifically for seed series? if ther is, is it available locally? as for the Gundam Seed Marker Sets. yes, there is.

mga masters, i've a question again... what cn i do to make the trails left by gundam markers disappear? TIA! some pros do that by painting it in 2 strokes. just like using the paint brush, don't paint it in 1 stroke. make the 2nd stroke a bit adjacent to the first stroke. more like cross-hatching strokes. and with the help of topcoats afterwards, hopefully, the stroke will not be visible. esp with flat topcoats. just to be sure, try it first with scrap plastic before applying it to the kit.
hope that helps.

welcome to GTboards, fanatics. just to remind you that we have to post in english so that our post will not be deleted. thanks.
as for your questions, you can use mechanical pencil, .03 sign pen that can be found in National Book Stores. just be sure that it's not oil-based. look for the water-based sign pen.
