A top coat is the only thing you can use to seal decals, unless you want to use nail polish(?)

regarding scopa decal paper .. i tried it and it seems ok... it is quite good if you plan to make black or grayscale decals. colored decals are ok if you plan to stick it on white surfaces, otherwise, it will be faint i tried experimenting on it when i acquired 1/100 HG destiny. and i still use it in conjunction with MGs as seen on the pics i posted on the other threads. here's the destiny just in case ... it was my experiment with decals so don't be too disappointed ok? very minimal paint job niya ... di pa pulido pagkakagawa

I never use tweezers for water slide decals, the only 'tool' I use is toothpick and cotton buds, since all I have to do is wet the decal and 'slide' it into position and the toothpick does it nicely.
But for stickers, I guess you'll need it, you can buy a 'real' hobby tweezers (Tamiya) at Lil's.
The Xacto knife is available at NBS but you'll only find #11 blades. You can buy a 'just as good' set w/ 3 handles and various kinds of blades in 168mall for less than P100.
