Guys can anyone suggest a masking tape which is better than the conventional tape in the bookstores? Coz I need to mask the joints of my BuCUE and I need some thin masking tape in order to mask them while sealing the seams of the armor.

are the tamiya masking tapes translucent or transparent in way? it's the same with any regular masking tapes. the difference on them is Tamiya tapes are less tacky than the regular ones.

Tamiya for me also. They're yellow in color, it doesn't dry up or leave sticky residue.

will the tamiya masking type be alright for attaching dry transfer decals? one thing thats been discouraging me to attach decals is the sticky residue left from the masking tape excesses... and how much will it cost?
TIA!

as i remember, it costs P100+... as for the question regarding decals, the answer is yes... good thing about these tamiya masking tapes is that, they're not too sticky and at the same time they still do their job... un nga lng, they're kinda expensive.. but in your case, money's not a problem... hehehe.. ;D

TIA! I just use scotch tape to fix those... As long as the paint is completely cured it's not a big deal
