I just saw this last night at AXN. Its a reality show similar to The Contender. The only difference is that it's MMA (not boxing). There are two teams - Lyddell (Blue) and Couture (Green). The ref is big John and the fighters battle it out in the famous octagon. The winner gets a UFC contract.
Im a fan of MMA especially UFC. To see one fight a week, wow, that’s exciting. Kaya lang… the program was copied from another program. If im not mistaken, Wrestling has another version also, Tough Enough ata.
Also, I would have liked Ortiz to be the coach instead of Couture. Lemme know ur thoughts guys.

i dun think team chuck's lost a match yet. the fights are kinda raw compared to standard ufc matches since these guys dun have much technique yet. better than tough enough imo since this is mixed martial arts.

Im a fan of MMA especially UFC. To see one fight a week, wow, that’s exciting. Kaya lang… the program was copied from another program. If im not mistaken, Wrestling has another version also, Tough Enough ata. Yup, its Tough Enough. Its quite different from Tough Enough because first thing the training in Tough Enough is how to be a sports entertaining. As most of us know that the fights in the WWE is not real, participants in the show are trained how to handle bumps and how to sell different moves. The show is also a bit difficult to present (Tough Enough) since the producers need to keep in mind that the show must be presented in a light that depicts wrestling as a "fighting" sport. There are also female participants in Tough Enough. Also, I would have liked Ortiz to be the coach instead of Couture. Lemme know ur thoughts guys. Ortiz is a good fighter but I still see Randy Couture as a more seasoned fighter than Ortiz. He has more experience and would appear more of a coach to the participants. i dun think team chuck's lost a match yet. the fights are kinda raw compared to standard ufc matches since these guys dun have much technique yet. better than tough enough imo since this is mixed martial arts. I haven't watched much of the show to confirm Chuck's team being undefeated but I do hear their team is doing great. Yeah, the talents are still raw and only a few of them show any in-ring skills in terms of avoiding and executing submission. Most of the participants utilize toe-to-toe boxing and ground-and-pounds. I even saw a participant turn his back on his opponent while they were on the mat. Oh yeah, he also knows his opponent is a submission fighter. That for me is the sure sign of inexperience.
