Very shocking reveal from WWE.com...

At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

I really don't know the reason why or how, but the bottom line here is that Chris will be missed by his fans and colleagues in the Sports Entertainment industry.

I can't believe that he did it.... if people knew him...if you were an avid fan and especially if you were a friend.... you'd never say that he would kill his own family. This is a guy who cried on his world heavyweight championship in front of 100,000 people! He couldn't have done it. 'nuff said.

i couldnt believe it either, reports said steroids screwed up his mind and he did it, then he killed himself when he sobered up and found out what he did.

sensational sherri also passed away recently.

vince came out and willingly broket out of the script [in the current story of the WWE, vince staged his death] and he decided to stop it since staging his death amidst real deaths in the industry would be grossly inappropriate.

Very sad news indeed. What does not make sense is the presence of the bible besides the bodies victims. Did Chris left it before he did the crime or afterwards when he regained normalcy? I kinda like the guy a pure no non-sense technical wrestler probably one of the greatest. RIP to the wife and little boy and Chris.

It is very shocking indeed that Chris Benoit, a WWE celebrity and former champion would be sick enough in the head to take the life of his own wife and child...In his hometown Edmonton, they even declared Chris Benoit day to pay tribute to his popularity...I guess, one can never tell, WWE wrestlers play their persona on TV excellently that viewers are sometimes mistake their alter-egos for real life...
