Anyone playing the game? Seeing as I am a big fan of the first one I find the game fun. Especially the new system they added on the battle system. More strategy planning. Photons too are fun and the puzzles are as interesting as ever. Soundtrack is great too. Any other comments anyone? ^_^

i am sooo lame for not being able to beat the first boss... the fight system takes a lot of getting used to. then again i still have FFXII to beat.

Complaints on the game
1. Balance and implementation of level ups
2. Super cheap Final boss ( you'll see, I got it to half HP when it started hitting me with this magic strike and teleports away)
3. A bit like the Xenosaga series, great story, but similar to Episode 2, the time spent on leveling up prolongs a basic 40 hr or less plotline.

not to brag but already finsihed it, not so difficult game unlike PS1 Valkyrie Profile,no need to be at high level just coordinate your attacks and healing well, dump any unnecessary einherjar and get those overpowered weapons hehe

Haha. I got the uber weapons too but don't use as not to spoil the fun. XD I dunno, the only time I really leveled was to get those overpowered weapons and then that's it. @_@

IMHO the overly powered weapons made the game a lot easier when you equip it specially for boss fights also if you want to obtain those rarely dropped items hehe

Uber weapons? How? Did you have to get Hirst and Arngrim to level 60 first before them leaving?

nope it doesn't have to be level 60, i think it was level 35 for arngrim and hrist or you could check gamefaqs.com to be sure, and yes the level requirement should be achieved before they leave your party..

When I went against the Final Boss, only Valkyrie could get a 1000 hit, the rest just struck at 200 or less, .......bummer!

Uber weapons? How? Did you have to get Hirst and Arngrim to level 60 first before them leaving? To get the first batch of the "uber weapons", have Arngrim and Leone level up to level 45 before the end of Chapter 3. Aferwards, you can get more "uber weapons and accessories" if you can level Lezard and Dylan to level 45 before the end of Chapter 4.
