This may not sound right but I find it more effective when there is a defender. I wait for them to come close then start backing down. Hehehe. Usually the AI won't even attempt to block you. ;D

i don't understand why they changed back the controls this year.. i find it better when the lay-up and dunk buttons are separated...

i think ea sports is reverting nba live back to the old school style... but i'm not too impressed with that...

i think ea sports is reverting nba live back to the old school style... but i'm not too impressed with that... and further more they remove each players special ability moves if i remember it right it was first introduced in NBA Live 06 or 07. I kinda like the crunching solid sound of block in NBA Live 05 or 06 its like your really blocking the opponents ball.

hehehe i like what you said there sound of dunks sounds like a thin can being thrown at the ground.
However, NBA Live is still the best NBA game for the console out there. I really enjoyed playing it. ;D ;D ;D
