Halo 3 and NBA 2k8

Im planning to set aside a budget for both games this december. To those whogot the 360 versions (or ps3 for the 2k8 game) i have some questions lang sana:

1) how does the nba 2k8 graphics compare to 2k7? is it also much better gameplay wise versus its predecessor?

2) for halo 3 how is the multiplayer OFFline feature? i still have pending DSL troubles at home so im sticking to offline multiplayer sessions with peers for now. Does it allow for 4 players simultaneously?

1) there are some improvements on the graphics on 2k8 imo. CPU is much more challenging.

2) so far i've only played 2 player co-op, but campaign (story) mode is very intense.
