Ok guys trade rumors is going to be true First: the rumor is that Shaq is gonna be traded to Phoenix Suns for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks. Nooo don't break the line up please. I like the present line up of Phoenix Suns. (Shaq needs to retire he already got 3 + 1 Championship Rings and a number of MVP's) I can't believe this Anbelibabreyal ..... Lakers now acquire Pao Gasol .... Oh My ..... they traded it for Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, and Aaron McKie. Now I'm a LAKERS Fan. Woohoo .... Pao and Kobe are we gonna see new dynasty build up in Lakers. Oh boy Phoenix sure is having a lot of trouble so that's why there going in for a Shaq trade. ;D ;D ;D

gasol was great in his debut had 24 pts. and 12 boards... too bad kobe didn't score much.. only had 6 points.. but the Lakers won that's important... ;D i believe the reason why the grizzlies traded gasol is because they like to clear up some salary space and because kwame brown's contract is expiring next year they have just lost the almost total salary of gasol and they can sign a bigtime free agent next season... ;D

I think were gonna see a lot of triangle defense because the Lakers lacks a very good center to complete the triangle. Now Gasol is there were gonna see some good triangle defense.
Lakers right now is a very good balanced team Pao, Kobe, and Fischer is a very good combination. The only problem now is Pao will have to adjust to Lakers strategy. Go Go Lakers ........ ;D ;D ;D

I think Bynum will take the center spot while Gasol gets the 4 spot. About that Shaq-Marion trade.. I think it is a bad deal on the Suns' side. Sure, Marion isn't that happy with the Suns, but his numbers are still better than Oneal's, plus Shaq is not that healthy and has like a 2 years left before retiring, tops. It is clear that the Suns want Marion out, but use him in better deals.

But I hope Marion goes to Lakers hehehe .... but that won't happened hehehe .....
Right now my favorite teams for these season are Boston, Lakers, Phoenix, San Antonio. And if Phoenix will really proceed with the Shaq deal I'm gonna pull out Phoenix on my favorite teams but I'm sure I'll still gonna check Phoenix. ( i che-check ko yan with ikoeichi's tone (from Slamdunk) hehehe ) May be who knows Phoenix will have a good karma if Shaq will be there its still early.
I think we might a Boston and Lakers again on the Play-offs that will be a classic. ;D ;D ;D

ugh... i really wanna hear the side of the Suns... no matter how much i think about it, i still don't understand the reason behind giving away Marion...
and yeah, Bynum will be playing the center postion... killer line-up i must say!

at a glance the marion trade seemed like a blunder in the suns part, but looking at the circumstances it was a stroke of genius from the head office marion has an expiring contract and can walk away as an unrestricted FA at the end of the season, it was also said in most press releases that he is a locker room problem for phoenix, so trading for him was inevitable. on the part of shaq being acquired, kerr reiterated that this guy will plug the holes wherein the suns have had weaknesses in the past- a definitive low post presence with legit championship experience. Its quite early to assume that shaq has little left on his tank, as he has the propensity to motivate himself whenever critics hound him. As for his health, kerr and their medical staff have evaluated the long term condition of o'neal, and they believed that he remains viable commodity despite the injuries which in fact neither long term nor serious given shaq's age. another point of contention is the presumed inability of shaq to run with the suns, but then again phoenix is still quite deadly with a 4-man running attack. Expect stoudemire to comfortably settle into the number four spot with shaq at the middle. Defensive weak side rotations out of the double will be happening less often, as shaq can provide single coverage on the opposing big man. On the offensive end, they have another threat within who can work on a classic double high tandem with amare, similar to how david robinson and duncan did it in the late 90s. The next 2 to 3 years will prolly be the suns' last gasp as a title contender, with nash approaching his mid 30s. With Shaq in tow expect phoenix to make the most out of this opportunity.
