OMG!! greg oden's to miss the entire season because of having knee surgery.. aw man.. i was looking forward to see this big guy play...  the good news is, durant'll still be there to look forward to... besides, i'm a durant fan!!! woohoo ;D |

haha!! yup we got durant!! are you a sonics fan too? i stopped being one since they traded my fav. player GP!! but maybe durant will make me a sonics fan again...hopefully.

ei shinn just change your thread title to NBA season 2007-2008.. pwede pa ba?? so that we could post all nba related news,games, updates here. hehe about the nba fantasy, sign-up is in october i think sa yahoosports yun. it depends on the category you'll be joining. its a fun game..you'll be able to know the most efficient player and not so so players in NBA..it's just accumulation of stats ie: points, rebs, assists, 3pts.. i think they traded randolph coz he was a bit of "pasaway"..they don't have complains on how he plays but off the court dun my problema. and also they have high hopes on aldridge who plays PF same as randolph.. more defensive specialist, blocks and rebounds well however lacks offensive weapon which randolph has.. so malaking kawalan din.. |

Portland drafted Oden since 'good' centers are kind of scarce in the NBA today. The Oden injury gives Frye a spot in the starting lineup.. Portland's starters with Oden may look like this:
Oden-5
Aldridge-4
Roy-3
Miles - 2
And possibly (or wishing ;D) Green at the point.
Frye has the 6th spot.

king_al: sorry man, i don't play nba fantasy....but i might check it out this year....
portland scouts already knew that oden had an injury after they drafted him and then now he got another one....it sure kills their chances this year but most of their players are young, brandon roy was from here in seattle and martell webster too and those guys will be runnin' the show for now....
i think durant was a good pick for sonics since they're in a rebuilding mode and since they lost their 2 key players....durant is lookin' like to become the rookie of the year this year....he's an all around player, he can surely score, rebound, and assist! don't be surpirse to see him with triple doubles....but jeff green who was the 5th pick that seattle traded for boston for allen looked really good in the summer league too!! so the durant vs. oden will have to hold off but the pacific northwest rivalry just got even better....
people here are excited to see durant play and i'll be goin' to few games since our company gives out some free tickets....you guys wanna come? hehe....

this might turn out to be a blessing in disguise for portland if they become a playoff team then how much better can they get with oden returning next season? if they falter miserably then they are once again part of the lottery... further strengthening their youth brigade win or lose its win-win for them |

Man I bet Boston will be in the Semi's this season. I like there new formed team right now 3 all-stars. Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce .... I'm a Boston fan right now. I hope they add a new Championship ring because its been a decade already the last Championship they had is with Larry Bird. Go Boston .... (LOL even on Live 08 I've been using Boston all over again hehehe) .... ;D
