Who do you think deserve the MVP award more?
For me, i'll have to say CP3 because he definitely makes his teammates a lot better when he's playing and now the Hornets are no.1 in the west...

I say Kobe Bryant. The guy is IMO the best player in the league today.
But as kingferic said, a team's record also comes into play. It'll hurt Kobe's chances of winning if they don't get on the top spot or second in the west.

If the lakers become no.1 in the west i think he can be mvp.. and that's not impossible from happening now that they have pau gasol in the lineup... ;D ;D

i guess kobe remains the sentimental favorite as MVP, but if actual statistics and team influence are to be weighed, i believe Lebron James had already surpassed him and deserves the plum more. those Oscar Robertson numbers are very hard to deny, while Kobe's averages are basically the same from last year's and pale in comparison against the former (moreover, lebron is even more a team player). its just that they are winning more consistently now with the emergence of Bynum and a more solid role player cast. Id say Lebron first, followed by Chris Paul with Kobe third. Nonetheless the season is a long way to go so lets see what happens.
