Hi, I just got my first 1/6 scale action figure. This is a DC Direct version. Im also starting to get Hot Toys figures like Scar Predator, Predalien, and Aliens. Coming soon.

Since the armor prevents some posings, I went to a fabric store and looked for a black garter. I thought I have to go to a lingerie shop just to get some straps, haha! Here's the mod...

Thanks for viewing! This is a very cool figure. If you want a big Batman w/c is cheap and might say not bad against Hot Toys or RAH, get this! If Hot Toys or maybe Takara release their own Batman in new suit, I guess it will be more awesome, but the price will be triple this price!

DC Direct version has a nice set of accessories. With display stand. 28 points of articulation. But no articulation in the ankle and feet maybe because of the boots. So far, it is a nice figure and great for displaying. Will get Joker too... ;D

Got it for just $65.00+$10 shipping.

SRP here is $90. Most of the online and local toy stores here ranges from $80-$100. So I got it very cheap!

W/o the stand, it can still stand on its own. He can stand tall w/o the stand, just pose the legs properly. Some of the posings didn't require any stand. Joints and stability are good, not that tight. No flimsy/loose parts. My gripe next to the lack of articulation in the feet is the cape. It is made of two materials, the outer part needs to be cleaned w/ a lint roller, hehe! And he looks bulk. But it's ok. Wish they include the unmasked head Christian Bale just like HT and Takara.

Great review vic! I actually like the head sculpt on this better than the Takara version. Much more solid, IMO although I agree that he is a bit on the bulky side. Can you remove all the armors or is it just the one on the shoulder where you made the mod?

Thanks qb! Yeah, I find the head sculpt much better. If only there is an alternate head, it will be a great figure! Nwayz, yes, the armor can be removed even the suit but the boots are hard to take off the legs. If I can take off the boots, I can strip him. Here are some pics...




Plastic/PVC armor. It has translucent parts!


Lots of button/holes to connect the body armor.


OMG, he's like Bane! On steroids! The belt is glued together though it can be detached and it has a peg at the back but glued.
